The best limits in FFVIII

I like Squall's and Zell's limits. If you get all the combinations for all of Zell's you can do some serious damage. Squalls is just badass and is also strong. Like brnthsdiscout said; up to 80,000 damage.

Edea's and Seifer's limit was pretty cool. Although, I was quite sad that neither of theirs could be upgraded or strengthened.

Besides those two, Rinoa's limit Angel Wings was pretty sweet. Especially with Meteor.

I think Irven is the best cuz if u upgrade him to 255 str he will cuz a measurable damage to the enemy.Unlike squall you must let him do Lion Heart limit break to be the most powerfull one

Squall's Lionheart limit break single-handedly blows every other limit in every other game out of the water. The reaction and expression on my face when I first saw Squall leap into the air and start blasting 9,999 all over the place is unbeatable. That move will always be my favorite.

Zell has the best limit breaks just for the way his limit was set up. In order to do his final limit you had to go do the combination of a couple. It was like Sabin's except a little more into it the way you could continue it on as long as time allotted

I think the best limit on the game is Irvines Limit Break using the Pulse Ammo. Its quick, does extremly high damage and looks cool. Though it is a darn good limit I recognize it as a strong second to Squall's Lionheart, but thats obvious, so I just gave this one credit.

My favorite limit break is degenerator from Quistis because of the one hit kill...it helps so much for leveling up

While Degenerator was the most usefull I liked Zells limit beacuse im so good at it.

When I frist fought I used his limit and memorised a few moves so I could keep the one combo going for about half and hour! GO ZELL!
Plus the states effects with Irvines dark shot was kinda cool,I would use pulse ammo but its so dam hard to come by...

Irvine Limited Break Isn't strong than Squall... But he can do 6 or 8 times of shooting..This Damg will be sure...
Squall Limited Break is Strongest in FFVIII but.... he just can do 1time sometime..And Lion Heart Will apprea If your Luck so high..

My vote was for Selphie... yeeeees her limits are boring but when you discover The End and kill Omega Weapn with that limit it isnt boring anmore...

and othe rlimit that i love but in second place is Squall's... his limit is awesome.. it reminds me a little bit to Cloud's final limit

I voted for Squall because I think he does indeed have the best limit break. However, I wish it wasn't so random. I like knowing which limit is going to be used.

Squall's Lionheart was awesome to watch, and it reminded me a lot of Cloud's Omnislash.

Selphie's The End was interesting to watch. Who knew that such pretty flowers could lead to such doom?

Effect:

Squall's Lionheart would really decimate an enemy. Totally worthwhile.

Zell's Dual limit break was really effective because if you were fast enough inputing those commands, then you could deal some worthwhile damage.

Overall:

I think that Squall had the best limit break overall. It was just a powerhouse of an attack.

I voted for Squall, he truly has some fearsome Limit Breaks perfect for dealing massive damage and Leonhart was just spectacular.

I also liked Zell's Limit Breaks, with super fast fingers you can deal some decent damage and some of them were similar to those that Tifa used.

Quistis Limit Break Blue Magic was a life savior, it had some neat support magic which proved to be very useful in major battles. Personally I liked Mighty Guard and White Wind although some of her offensive magic were also useful.
