I play ttadvance to my usernames the same as here.
Im not that good.Im a newbeginer.Any of you have any Cloud cards,i want those.Tidus and Bahamut cards too.

i thought that it was too hard to understand. I mean if you have played Final Fantasy IX's card game it so much different then in Final Fantasy VIII. Also you have to learn new rules and it gets confusing because it certain areas the rules for winning is different. So overall i didn't like the card game system they set up in Final Fantasy VIII. I likeed it better in Final Fantasy IX

Awww, yes the good old card game, hahahaha, i remember when i got the Lionheart on CD1....playing till a fainted to get those Elnoyle cards, it was a really fun and addictive mini-game indeed, yup, FFIX's cardgame was a shot in the dark compared with FFVIII's cardgame, they tried something similiar with FFX-2, but that was horrible, nope FFVIII was the best in it's cardgame.

i love card game in ff8, i only play ff8 to collect cards and then refine it wiyh card mod ability...

i hate all rules except in open rules..

I really loved this card game. The best one of all FF parts. But I didn't get all the cards because some of the rules were annoying.

It is really an important part of FF8 ...
Collecting cards like collecting jewels ( Personal opinion ) !

Forget the hard rules ( Random \ Same \ Plus \ Element )
It is my favorite thing in Final Fantasy VIII ...

At first I really couldn't stand the card game. It took me a while to actually understand how it worked. I never read the instructions lol. After I figured out the rules, I started to like it a lot. It's great fun and it was a great thing to add on to the game. I only know how to play the simple rules though. I'm not a big fan of the other rules they have, they tend to confuse me a little.
