Do you like FF8?

This is my brothers favorit FF and my 3rd this game is definetly underrated and desurvs a lot of recognishon it dosint resev so I give it 3 chears and a groval and I suggest evry one dus the same cuz Squall has his gun blade to my throut and is thretining me.

FF8 is a VERY good game. when i first heard that people didn't like it that much, i was very confused. the reason i think that it is so underrated is because it had to come right after FF7, and trust me, FF7 is a TOUGH act to follow.

How can you call "Eyes on Me" bad? Oh well, we all have our own opinions. This is the only FF I never get sick of. I can play through the entire thing and love it just as much as I did the first time.

If you think it's too easy, make it harder. It's quite simple.

How would you suggest doing that? Not junctioning magic and never upgrading from the first weapons? Sounds like a fun challange!

It was great exept for the draw system and it was very easy.Also the story goes wried after halfway thourgh disc2.

Great story, characters, graphics.

Draw/Junctioning system was infinitely rewarding for us stat crunchers and played as little or as big a part as you wanted it to. After the mighty VI definitely my fave.

Though Squall is generally regarded as a cold character - Zell and Quistis made up for his shortcomings in the personality stakes.

I played it some years ago and these days again. I really don't know why, but I don't like it too much. There are a few reasons though:
- drawing is annoying
- I missed some humor
- The story is shitty
- Too easy
There are a lot of strong points and in every aspect it is a great game, but it was less fun compared with FFVI, FFVII, FFIX, FFX at least.

after FFX-2 this is the worst FF.

the story is b*llocks, the magic system b*llocks,

and because of the junction system and the fact that the monsters are always as strong as you, i actually completed the game on level 17. how ****ed up is that?

ff8 should be erased from time. it never happened!!!!!!!

Throw me into the 'really annoyed' camp when it relates to FF8. Since I am verbose and would take up entirely too much time to explain why this game disppointed me, please refer to the following points:

-Graphics were grainy and futuristic
-Characters were TOO flawed (i.e. Squall and his 'whatever')
-Characters were soapy (i.e. acted like kids)
-Drawing is frustrating and boring
-Overuse of CGI
-Storyline was too far-fetched

The only thing I liked about this game was the music. It was wonderful--I especially loved 'Force your way' and 'Find your way'. Just beautiful.

The game was okay at best. Not great, just okay. It is probably my favorite 'second generation' Final Fantasy game though, but it didn't really have much competition.

- I liked the story, from what I could follow anyway. Some of it was too.. eh, over my head. I didn't really pay much attention in some parts though.
- The characters weren't that great. Zell annoyed me, Rinoa made me want to kill furry animals, and Selphie was just. EEEEEEEEEERK. I didn't really have much of a problem with the others though.
- The music was pretty good. The Movies were awesome.
- I loved the draw/junction system. I didn't find it confusing or hard in the least. I just spent the time getting to know it and everything else was a breeze.

The difficulty of the game was.. well, it wasn't that difficult of a game.

Good game overall.

FF8 is my third ff game.I enjoy it even it's a bit messy a time.I really enjoyed the opening FMV.cool!!

How can I NOT love FFVIII? It was the first FF game I've played. Selphie rocks!

I liked FF8 a lot. It was my link to the FF world. It was the first Final Fantasy I played and knew of. FF7 followed and then FF9... FF8 had amazing FMV sequences and the characters all had a perfect place in the storylines... Must I say anymore? The game rocked.

FFVIII is the 2nd best game on my list the 1st game is Final Fantasy X and then Final fantasy VIII. the opening FMV is so cool the coolest one i have ever seen!!!

i just can say one thing great characters great music and grate history line even so there is some thing mising but it's awesome
