The best FMV scene

ALL of them are memorabLe, weLL done, and fabuLous.. but I voted for the "ending scene" 'coz.. it made me happy to see it, that I've finished the game..

damn theres so many awesome scenes. i would have to say the opening cuz it sets up the whole game and how squall gets his scar. but the balamb vs. galbadia garden battle was epic. but when i played the demo of FF8 the boat in Dollet was pretty was too and quistis unloading the machine gun on the Spider Robot thing

I really wish the Eyes on Me scene on the Ragnarok was an FMV. I wouldn't have minded it being subtitled, and I wonder why it wasn't but that was such a memorable scene. Mainly cos I just had a similar experience lol

I'm afraid I'm going to have to agree wholeheartedly with the Spoony One* on this. The opening scene is by far, in my opinion, the best FMV in the game. Excellent choice of music, with dramatic shifts in scene and tone lead to great expectations for the game. It's a shame the game failed to live up to my expectations from the opening scene. To quote the Spoony One, about the Seifer-Squall duel: "Now you might think there's something epic going on here, like there's some world-shattering event that warrants this duel...but these guys are just sissy-fighting, in training. I'm serious."

That would have been beautiful, if they ever remake it, they better do that! I only watched that scene the other day and I really love it, one of my favorite parts in the game.

You had a similar experience? Are you a Sorceress/Sorcerer or something? Haha no, I'm kidding around but that's pretty awesome.

Hahahaha. I read my other post in this thread and it's terrible. I still love the dance scene, it is very cute and funny. Squall has no idea what he's doing and looks nervous. Oh! I also like it when they crash into the other dancing couple and Rinoa looks as though she's screaming profanities at the other couple. Good stuff!

The scenes with Sorceress Edea and Squall jumping off that cliff into the crowd of people is pretty intense and awesome, a great scene by far. Then he speeds off in the car and off to the gates where Seifer and the Sorceress are.

I can't just pick one because I love this game and all the scenes are all wonderful to me in their own special ways. The ending = win. It's a...

Spoiler: NICE HAPPY ENDING! It's a common thing but it was a nice way to end it.

Squall and Rinoa hugging at the Sorceress' memorial place where her powers tried to get sealed. Very sweet! Zell's introduction FMV is a classic, he's such a goof. Selphie falling over during the Dollet SeeD test is another good one. Squall saving Rinoa from off of the cliff when she falls off Balamb Garden is awesome.

Okay, I'll stop listing them now. I just love them all!

I do love all the FMVs in this game, so choosing a few will be hard. ^^; The dance scene is a favourite of mine, as is the communications tower. The FMV of Edea's parade is a favourite of mine as well, along with Squall leaping off the building. The Lunar Cry, Selphie in Dollet, Ragnarok boarding the Lunatic Pandora... I could go on and on. XD Every FMV has something I like about it, so I'll stop here.

Oh, and the FMVs from the Battle of the Gardens are all cool as well.
