I think my favourite character is rather obvious. I like Selphie the most. She was cute and didn't pack on too much drama. She was funny, happy and amused my brain o__o.

I would have to say Irvine as he flirts alot and it usually is quite humurous. Plus his limits are awesome IMO, especially when using the demolition ammo, is just really cool to watch lol. So definately irvine.

Zell was my favorite character because he was really sweet and funny and quite a fan of hot dogs. And he's ADORABLE. Sexy, sexy tat. I also liked Quistis because she was so cool and she had so much on her plate at such a young age. She was great.

In terms of baddies, I loved Fujin after her speach. When I played the game I rememer the speach being supper affective and meaning so much to me, and I remember being so sad for her. Plus I love Seifer/Fujin as a couple. Gold and Silver, baby! ^_^

My favourite ff8 char is Irvine.I don't know what the real reason is but it seems that i always attracted to a man with a gun.
Plus,he is funny and cool.

I believe Zell would be my favourite Final Fantasy VII character. He had alot of personality, was very caring, and I found him quite funny. I loved all of Final Fantasy VIII characters, so the choice was hard, but yes, Zell would be my favourite overall.

They rocked. Basically, Selphie may not have been the best in battles, but she had a cute attitude... And Zell was cool coz he was pretty much good at attacks and whatever. So, yeah. They would've been a cool couple, but no, stupid Irvine and Library Girl came along. Idiots...

Selphie is cool too, but I could not have pictured her with Zell. I think Selphie and Irvine make a better couple, that's why I am glad they ended up together, +yawns+ but that is my opinion.

I think Zell kicks ass! He's always hyper and a bit ignorant of the dangers around. I think that I relate to him a bit and he has the best lines according to me! Anyways, he's my choice so be happy about it!

I've got three favs: Squall, Zell, and Rinoa

Squall: He's bad@$$! And his Lionheart Gunblade upgrade looks sweat! And, I LOVE his attitude!
Zell: He's willing to sacrifice you-know-what for his family in Balamb! He's also brave and good for a laugh! ^_^
Rinoa: I LOVE her dress!!! The Animation on her for the Float magic is AWESOME! And her Angelo combinations are great! She's pretty, and looks very nice on the opening cinematic!

Zell is the best, obviously. He gets so angry all the time, and Seifer just calls him Chicken Wuss. It doesn't hurt that he's probably the strongest character int eh game.

Second is Squall, just because he's really cool.

Okay... pro's and cons for every character...

Squall, protective of his team, but too cold.
Zell, runs into situations too fast, but is fun anyway!
Irvine, doesnt really take in the situation so well, but is dedicated when he wants to be.
Quistis, strict but has excellent limits.
Rinoa, annoying but has a nice outfit.
Selphie, FUN!!! FUN!!!!!!!! Friendly and violent! (and everybody says I have her exact hair style just after I wash it) XD... but she's a weak character.

All in all, the best personalities of FF8 characters are...

Selphie and Zell .
