I own the PC version of FF7 (I bought it once I sold my play station like 6-7 years ago). When the wheel of curse is spinning after a battle, on the PS version you could just spam the "square" button to slow it down, then you vould easely pick up the penalty you would suffer. But on the PC version it is not working. Their is any way to make it worth ? Or any cheat to use too choose the penalty I'd want to suffer ? Actualy, at my point I,d even use a cheat just to skip the whole battle square thing. I simply don't have the time in real life to spend 2-3 hours in a row just to get omnislash.

Inventory | I never saw the Battle Square as a big time waster or incredibly hard. Though I was used to playing FFVI and spending a couple hours of gridning to uncurse the Paladin Shield. Why not try beating the game without Omnislash or actually, playing it without trying to cheat? On the other hand, I know what you mean about actually taking the time, which isn't for everyone these days. Over at Qhimm.com there's a utility called Jenova, which is a Save Game Editor.

| The easiest way to go through the battle arena in FF7 is to pick any character, and give them the Mystile armor and the Ribbon Accessory. The Mystile offers a huge amount of defense/magic def/evade/magic evade, and has 6 connected slots. The Ribbon makes you immune to status effects. Having the Ribbon alone can prevent about 85% effects of the status wheel even affecting you, so you should be able to make it through all the rounds if you're a decent level. As for the other 15%, if you get a really bad handicap like "Break All Materia" or "Break Accessory" or similar to that, your BP skyrockets and can easily hit like 10000-15000+ BP if you make it through the whole way, so in either case you're going to make a high amount of BP with relative ease, which can get you the Omnislash or W-Summon or whatever else you want reachable in no time. | ||||||||||||
