Like was said earlier, Knights of the Round will do more damage if you are fighting a boss, but Odin will instantly kill normal enemies for less MP. So, If you are fighting regular monsters, Odin is better, but if you are fighting a boss, Knights of the Round is better. There really isn't much to discuss or debate about this...

What kinda question is this?The stronger between them is Knights of the Rounds.This is so obvious.With KOTR you can even kill Sephiroth easily.

Knights of the round is definitely the best one. First of all, Odin doesn't have an effect on bosses, which is exactly where Summons come in handy most of the time. Second of all, is there a random encounter, i.e. non-boss that has more HP than the KotR deal damage?

Yup.. everyone is right.. at first.. Odin is reaLLy heLpfuL.. since.. he instantLy kiLLs an enemy/enemies.. there's a time when I was so Lucky enough to kiLL a MarLboro(s) because Odin shows up.. and I compLeted Quistis finaL weapon.. when Odin died and Knights of the round shows up.. he is too.. powerfuL.. but sometimes.. his attack is very weak.. depends of what weapon he use.. but.. sadLy.. they very rare to appear..

haha i accidently voted Odin but yes KOTR, when it comes to bosses, hands down is stronger.

You're talking about Gilgamesh from Final Fantasy VIII. This thread is about Knights of the Round from Final Fantasy VII.

Like I said before. Odin would really only be better during random encounters because he would cost less MP. Knights of the Round would probably still kill the monsters, but Odin requires less MP.

My apoLogy.. LoL! I didn't noticed this thread is for FFVII.. moving on.. yeah.. Knights of the round is much more powerfuL.. of course.. but takes much more MP than Odin.. Mmm.. I remember it takes 250 MP per summon to Knights of the round and 80 MP to Odin.. correct me if I'm wrong.. again I'm sorry.. LoL! I've been thinking about Odin of FFVIII so.. LoL!

Odin is my favourite summon, but Knights of the Round pwn it by a long shot. Yeah, in normal battles Odin can slice all enemies in half, but if you used Knights of the Round in the same battle... you'd get the same result of every enemy being killed.

you know it's purely dependent though. agreeing with squall from before it depends what your fighting. bosses most definitely KOTR but if your fighting a tough enemy and you don't have the mp to spend Odin will be your destroyer.

that was a tough choice at first. But it is Knights of the round after all. With Odin it's either one hit kill or one single attack, with knights of the round ur enemies are all dead or you've dealt serious damage to the all.

Looks like I voted in this poll a while ago, and forgot to post my response. Ah well.

I voted Knights of the Round. So much damage is dealt with this summon that it's almost not fair. Odin is great, but it doesn't really compare to KotR.
