I've heard of this. It is merely a tech demo. Nothing more has been or will probably be done, though this did get the hopes up of many a FF7 Fan boy and girl.

Yeah, someone renamed it, but it's just the FFVII tech demo released ages ago to show the power of the PS3. Nothing more.
