FF7 prequel game

I really think that Square should make a prequel game to FF7. One where you play as the people that stopped Jenova in the first place. I mean...SOMEBODY had to have stopped her right? She didnt just come to earth and like....randomly get frozen and then just stay that way.

Yeah, you're right about that, it's something I've wondered about before, too. But what would they do in the way of bosses and things? I think it'd be a really interesting game, but possible a bit hard to make.

No. People had and have been wanting Square to make remakes, sequals, and prequals. Before FFX-2 I thought the same way. After playing FFX-2 I lost my thirst for a sequal, prequal, or remake. From here on I think they should just stick to making new games.

Well personally...FFX wasnt that great of an FF game in the first place. And I think they just kind of scrapped its sequal together... the whole battle system was a bit messy...and the game itself was like....eh. There really werent even that many unanswered questions for FFX though.

But ever since I first playd FF7 I have wondered...who stopped Jenova? She must have been even more powerfull than Sephiroth. I mean...she was never even actually killed. She was still around even in FF7:AC.

But what would they do in the way of bosses and things?

Same thing they do in every FF game >.>
Its not like Jenova would just come to earth and the heroes would instantly fight her and defeat her. She would likely work to destroy the planet and have all sorts of monsters doing her bidding. For all you know, she is the reason the world of FF7 even has monsters.

I say Nay with LionheartVII.Final Fantasy 7 doesn't need sequels and prequels any more as all has been explained.It would be a waste of time for Squaresoft to make another one relating to FF7 or any others.As far it goes,They should just concentrate on making new and better games.It would be best for all FF fans out there.

Well I know that they should focus on newer games. But I'm talking about like...if they were to never make another indirect sequal for FF going past XIII.

Personally I'm really think its not a bad idea because it can expand the storyline better, but in the bad side Square should focus on making new games besides making sequels, prequels, etc. And isn't there already one in the works for the PSP?

It got a 9.5 out of 10 in my PSM magazine =)

I remember seeing it get 7.0 out of 10. Thats like...an average rating.

NOOOOOO. That would be poop. lol, seriously though. I like the current FF7 stories and stuff. A prequel would kinda be weird. I mean... how would it go? Would there even be a story to it? lol, i dunno... i don't think i would buy it.

.................................it wouldnt change the current final fantasy 7 story at all. It would lead up to it. And...of course there would be a story. Thats my point. Think about it. They found Jenova in a glacier. Jenova was like...the most powerful sorceress in the universe >__>
I doubt she came to earth and got frozen right away. SOMEBODY would have had to stop her. Somebody that was very strong.
