Given the fact that Aeris died I'd say it would definately be a crappy thing for him to wait around all his life for her to come back, or continue thinking about her like he does in AC. Tifa has cared for him since they were little, even Cloud knew it cause he wanted to become a member of SOLDIER to impress her. Maybe over his years of growing up, and becoming more mature he lost that reasoning for joining SOLDIER but nonetheless Tifa is there for him when he comes back, during their fight, and even after Cloud loses his memory/mind and can no longer fend for himself. I think it's premature to think Aeris is right for him just cause she had a crush on him then died tragically before Cloud could save her. What happened had to happen, and her and Cloud were never meant to be together. Thus, Tifa if anyone, is the best for Cloud. Unless he is smart and just stays single cause women are all trouble  | ||||||||

n/a | First thing: Ensim, that comment was innapropriate, in my standards. You can't really TASTE game characters... Second, I'd have to go with Tifa. I'm not a fan of perfect characters. Aerith, as I've pondered for a long time, is too perfect for an imperfect character like Cloud. | ||||||||

3,101 | I am ALWAYS going to vote for Aeris here. I thought those two made a very cute couple. Tifa and Cloud are better off as just friends in my opinion. It would have been really sweet to see Cloud and Aeris get into a relationship. That just never happened in the end.  They're only video game characters though.  | ||||||||

1,806 | Bringing back really old threads.  At first I really thought that Cloud and Aeris looked nice together. I guess Tifa is better for Cloud because Aeris died, but I think if Aeris didn't die they would have been good together. Also I liked Aeris better than Tifa.
