Tifa or Aeris (spoilers)

If Aeris was still alive at the end of the game I think she would be the best for Cloud, I think Tifa is best for me (If she was real of course)

Definitely have to go with Tifa because she seems more mellow and the kind of girl that any guy would like. As for Aeris, she's dead and I don't think she can magically come to life, but she wouldn't be a bad choice either.

I voted Tifa cos she's one of my fave FF characters ever and she's a lovely character...
In the beginning Cloud liked Tifa but said nothing cos he still thought she didn't like him. Tifa liked Cloud as she always had but said nothing cos she thought Cloud didn't like her...unlike someone said earlier in the thread, Tifa didn't only start liking Cloud when he went off to Soldier!
Then Cloud met Aeris, and I guess he thought, " well, this chick's cute, and nice, Tifa don't like me, so what not?"
Tifa thought, "damn, here's this chick, but Cloud doesn't like me and obviously likes her so what can I do."
Tifa didn't even hate Aeris, contrary to many people's beliefs...they were actually good friends. Tifa cried when Aeris died. Sure she did squirm when Cait Sith told Cloud and Aeris they were perfect for each other (who ACTUALLY took that scene seriously?), but wouldn't you if your love was being matchmade with someone else right in front of you? Cait Sith was just saying what Aeris wanted to hear cos he was being all sentimental.
And yeah, Aeris was attracted to Cloud cos of his reference to Soldier and Zack. It's true that people often look for qualities of someone they loved in someone new, so Aeris' attraction to Cloud was grounded...and Cloud for Aeris? Well she was beautiful and kind and sweet, I mean come on he's a man!

But Aeris died, and in the end Tifa helped Cloud uncover who he TRULY was, not the Zack-alike that Aeris knew. So I think Tifa and Cloud take my bet, even though the A&C combo is very cute. But Cloud was obviously in love with Aeris cos he took ages to get over her and still didn't hook up with Tifa even in Advent Children. So who knows. I actually think he needs to find someone new!

Anyway, Aeris all the way because she has that mystic kindof feeling and Tifa is just some slut that Cloud B***** near the end of the game.

Besides, Aeris makes Cloud a better person and helps him for all of the game and in Advent Children. Meanwhile, Tifa just fritters around blaming cloud for just about everything...Yeah, Aeris all the way!

Uuuuuuh I'm going for tifa because they were well.... not childhood.... id say teenage friends. But one thing bothers me.... at the end of Final fantasy 7 it shows Aeries in the lifestream opening her eyes. Oooooooooooooo... anyhow there is also that moment on the cliff....... .
As previously noted Aeries is up in heaven with Zack and they're happy.

I think Tifas the best for Cloud. I'm pretty sure Tifa loves Cloud and Aerith did too but it was because he reminded her of Zach so i think she was really in love with Zach and not Cloud.................... so yeah
