Emerald weapon or Ruby weapon

i have beaten both of these but would everyone who has defeated ruby weapon or emerald weapon in under 15 minutes send how easy out of 10 they were and what one they prefer

i prefer the ruby weapon because he has good spells but the damage is not the same as emerald weapon because for each materia equipped it would take 1111 for each materia equipped unless you have phoneix connected with final attack

I think beating ruby is just as easy as beating emerald. With the All lucky 7777, he's gone in no time. I saw a video clip of someone beating Ruby and he used only one character. The other two had to stay dead so that they don't get buried during the game lol.

Well I haven't tried to beat them both in some time. I remember dying alot quicker from Ruby Weapon. I think he put 2 of my guys in like a quick sand thing and they disapeared, and the last one was just offed quick...yeah I might suck at VII but I'm not too bad. ^_^;;

I prefer fighting Emerald Weapon cause you don't need any summons to beat him, I beat him using Cloud, Tifa and Yuffie. A good strategy is to have 9999HP and two materia equipped on each character. Use Mega Elixirs to restore the party's HP and attack on the limit breaks. When Emerald does Airtam Storm ur HP goes to 7777 and you get lucky 7. Best way to beat Ruby is with Cloud alone, KOTR paired with HP Absorb and use Mime (use W-Summon as well if you have it). Attack Ruby's claws first, he can only use ultima when his claws are in the ground. If your Magic is at 255 then KOTR does 130,000 damage.

i have yet to defeat ruby weapon, i threw all i had at his and it didnt work,
i beat emerald weapon easy enough after i got the underwater materia.

um I was just wondering if u beat them once can u fight them agian or do u have 2 start a new file???

You will have to start a new file, once you beat them, they are gone. It might be easier to have a save file right before you fight them if you wanted to fight them again.

Ruby Weapon is harder than Emerald Weapon.

I prefer Ruby Weapon, only because he's the more difficult of the two. You basically can't beat him unless you are completely prepared and ultimately leveled-up with the right materia and the right strategy. And to the person above, yeah, you have to basically fight him with one dude. If you enter the battle with all 3 party members alive, he takes 2 out immediately with the quicksand.

The only optional-boss in a game that I consider tougher and requiring MORE preparation, is Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts 2. Dude's got more Hit-Points than Sid Vicious' forearm.
