Personally i think he loves both. But loving Tifa is harder since he's his childhood friend. Also Aeris is sooo adorable and nice, but Tifa she has the equipments

So i dunno, ask him xD

I think Cloud loved Aeris. Tifa was just a childhood friend he adored. He mourned Aeris' death. He still had feelings for her during Advent. Tifa was probably just a one time fling. I really dont think that Cloud was in love with Tifa. I hope not because I depise her.

supposedly after the world was saved cloud started living with tifa...he left because he felt bad about what happened to aeris...but if Square staff could have got it done their would be another ending with him happy and aeris would still be alive....the group would stay together.
so it would have to be aeris.
cat sith said that cloud and aeris would be happy together...that they were PERFECT for each other...

It's pretty obvious that cloud likes ME!! nah, just kidding! It' obvious that he likes and cares more about that stupid Aeris!! But it doesen't mean that they are more of a couple than Tifa-Cloud... I still like Tifa-Cloud!! HURRAH!! Aeris is sooooPLASTIC!!(that's what I think she is like an attention seeker person!!!!!!!!!!! EHHH!!

I think he loved Tifa when he was younger but then after meeting Aeris well he loved her compelety, but I reckon Tifa loves Cloud its abit obvious

i think that cloud loved aerith because when she died he carried her and it seemed that until aerith died they were close and i think that personally it had to do something with clouds memories erased and then replaced with zacks and i think that zack and her might of been really close so cloud loves her to and cloud probably reminds aerith of zack.

I have to go with Tifa myself. They've known each other since childhood and they DO show signs that they love each other. I say Tifa.

I think Cloud likes Aerith more than Tifa. i think aerith is a really nice and pleasant kind of girl and she' s really pretty. Tifa, in my opinion, is a WHORE and that she needs to die!!!! God, i hate her!!! If i was Cloud and had to choose between those two I would go with aerith.

I'm under the impresstion that Cloud loves both due to the length of the relationship he has with them. But I would have to say that his heart is for Tifa, yet he feels that he is worthless because he failed to protect Aerith and he swore to Zack, in his own mind, to protect her due to the fact that he was murdered by Shrina. Thus another reason that Cloud hates Shirna and everything they stand for, yet he knows evetually, that he is not alone and he can share his feelings equaly to everyone even those he truely loves.

i believe IMO that while he felt strongly for aries he LOVED tifa.
