141 | Cloud is not in love with Aeris. He felt more sorry for Aeris than anything. Maybe it was compassion on his part. I think he felt guilty because Aeris died and that is why he doesn't get closer to Tifa. However I think he loves her dearly. In the movie Advent Children it is implied that they live together. Or did before he moved out. So Cloud and Tifa are an Item. I also think the only reason that he did get close to Aeris is because of Zack. He felt responsible that he died and tried to fill the void and be Aeris's "Zack." | ||||||||

305   | Of course it's Aerith!! Without a shadow of a doubt! He loved her in FFVII, so therefore because Aerith was with Cloud in spirit, you KNOW that he loved her.How else would they have connected? It was because of love that they became connected(sounds kinda cheesy, but I think it's true).

166 | I picked Aerith, Cloud seemed to bum hard when she died. Plus Cait Sith said they were a perfect match. Tifa, looked to be doing all the chasing, Cloud diddn't look interested. In Advent Children, it seemed that Cloud was again, not giving a damn about Tifa but thinking about Aerith. Tifa kind of got pissed off with that "Dilly Dally Shilly Shally" and wanted him to move on. Plus they were a family, so something must of went on. I'm not sure if Cloud loves her though... I think Tifa loves Cloud.

n/a | Well lets kill your best friends an see if you get bummed out. >.< so many people think just because he was sad that his friend dies that meant he was in love. An AC was a movie not a game. Yes it was supposed to be relatable, but they screw up our books by making them into movies too. Look the the Princess Bride for one. If anything Aerith threw herself at cloud more than Tifa did. All Tifa did was be there as a friend an more. Helping him find himslef again an be who he really is. If he wasn't who he really was when he met Aerith than how are we to know who he liked? Before his little accident he love Tifa....they were not friends. he went off just to prove himself worthy of her. An feeling that strong don't just dissapear because some other girl descides to throw herself at him. Personally I think Aerith was a slut. She barely meets cloud before wanting to get in his pants. An she still is mourning over her other bf that died. She's all messed up. Tifa has her head on straight. She was just too shy an polite to stand up to Aerith. An I could tell Cloud felt uncomfortable with her. I would too if some guy was trying to get into my heart within 5 mintues of meeting me. | ||||||||

500 | I think that cloud loved himself the most. He always seemed to kinda brush of the girls and worry about himself. Maybe towards the end he found out that he had developed love for one of the two female love interests but definatly at the beggining it was all about him baby. | ||||||||

1,077 | Really, I think Aeris ****ed Cloud up more than anything. She reasserted his 'Zack' personna and fed his 'Zack' ego. Tifa was trying to treat Cloud like Cloud, but Cloud was not Cloud. Thus any affection Cloud might feel for Aeris is essentially false since it would not be Cloud's love, but Clouds emulation of Zacks love. Thus the only genuine emotion I can confidently say I've seen Cloud have for any female in FF7 would be Tifa, all from the flash backs before he adopts Zacks personna. Cloud wants Tifa to like him. Cloud gets in fights and tries ot become stronger to get Tifa's attention. Cloud tries to join SOLDIER to impress Tifa. Cloud promises to come back and protect Tifa if she's ever in trouble. Cloud is very tender with Tifa when she is injured...and a lot of his anger and anguish towards Sephiroth has to do with the fact he believes (at that point i nthe game) that Sephiroth has killed her. I'd say if Cloud ever truly loved anyone, it was Tifa.

2,816 | Definitely Tifa. She's always had feelings for him through out the whole game, its just that she couldn't tell him. And when he had his vulnerable moments, Tifa was there for him more than Aeris. I like Aeris, but I think she just liked him, not loved him.
