2,891 | Barret was far more useful. His Strength and Vitality was superior to just about any character's (though the former is tied with Cloud's) and his limit breaks, such as Ungarmax and Catastrophe, were far more devestating than anything that Vincent could pull off. I especially dislike the fact you cannot control Vincent's movements during his transformed state. Utterly useless.

Infact, Supershiva is doing the same thing. Vincent is cooler, but not because of his appearance. It's his story that defined his character. Tragic and romantic all at once.

3,101  | I would probably have to say that I like Barret out of the two. Barret is a humorous character who reminds me a lot of Mr. T! He is also a very strong character in my opinion and has an awesome attitude. He's brave and would do anything for little Marlene. I like Vincent as well but I just like Barret better, I find him more interesting and plus he's funny. This topic is becoming a spam fest..  | ||||||||

125 | As much as I like Barrett, Vincent is just an overall better and more versatile character. I'm currently on my 5th pass through the game and I would say that my Vincent to Barrett usage ratio is about 6:1 Vincent does the damage, can take a whipping, and his limits are usally much more useful than Barrett's. All in all, with Vincent being and optional character, he is actually one of the more useful ones.
