i was talking to my dear papa today and i found out that the lead singer of pink floyd was call Cid Barret and as i asume you have already realise what i am on about (the characters cid and barret) anyway i was wondering weather if anyone had seen any off these things around or weather it is just a one off. btw admins and mods if you think this is in the wrong section then move i was conflicting weather to put it in ID, general chat, music or meny meny more!

7,944 | Well, taking a look at another classic Square game, Chrono Trigger, and there were Ozzie, Flea and Slash. Ozzie being Ozzy Osbourne Flea is the basist for the Chili Peppers Slash is the guitarist for Guns n Roses/ Velvet Revolver. So, it is a bit of a possibility. Factor in Pink Floyd's influence on music worldwide, and the theory looks good. Anyone try to sync up The Wall or Dark Side of the Moon with the storyline?

7,944 | ummmm, since the late 60's, and the Wall was in it's heydey in the 80s, which means it probably could have had a huge influence on the designers, if they were in their late teens/ twenties.

637 | It was a coincidence probably. But their personalities could possibly have been shaped by this guy. I don't know much about him but I'm guessing that they looked at him since he had the name of two of their characters. And Barret is named because of his gun arm. A barret is kind of a gun.
