So I'm browsing around the japanesse manga stall at A-kon, thinking I might pick u pa few copies of something before its U.S. release and get a heads up on the story and a little something to flip through for fun. Then I come across this.

Now, I'm the kind of guy that bought the FFVII Ultimania Guide even though its almost entirely in japanesse just so I could say I had it, thumb through the pages, and have something ot reference for the online translations.

I automatically pick up Final Fantasy VII Advent Children -Reunion Files- and start thumbing through it. It looks like its just an art book, really, and has somewonderful sketches of Advent Cloud, Tifa, and the silver haired trio. So I buy it, get it home, and notice that the whole things been translated on top of havign the original japanesse text.

Character profiles, pre-production notes, voice actor interviews, compisition details from Nobuo Uematsu, clarification on difficult plot points, new information as it relates to Dirge of Cerberus and Crisis Core, details about Last Orders and Before Crisis, and untold stories from the making of the movie are all in this book.

Some of the things I read I already knew, others I had no idea about. I never even NOTICED all three of the silverhairded men have one-wing emblems on their backs. (though granted, its hard to tell amid all that black leather)

It's a really great read and I'm not even half way through it yet. If you get the chance to pick up this book and have any lingering questions about the movie, game, or want a head start on the upcoming Dirge and Crisis Core, then this may be soemthing to look into.

I would love to get hold of a copy of that. Living in the UK probably means I'll have to pay massive prices on ebay though

But it sounds really cool. Did a bit of research into it, and I definitely want it.

Yes actually, I priced it. It's roughly around $50 U.S. so I think you could handle paying about 25 pounds. That is unless J-list is selling it.
