Whats the quickest way to earn alot of GP at gold Saucer? I dont think I could play the submarine minigame 200 times in a row.

I think the quickest way to get GP is winning Chocobo Races. All you need is a Gold/Black chocobo, racing at S/A+ class and exchange all the items you get into GP.

Another way would be buying GP from the guy near the Save Point at the gate of Gold Saucer. The chance for him to appear is about 5-10%. You can buy up to 100 GP from him at once

What about on Disc 1 though?

Submarine game 200 times. Motorcycle game 300 times...

It is a lot easier on disc 2 or 3.

Yeah, the reason I ask is because I want GP to save up to go to the Battle Square, to get enough Battle Points to buy the Exp + Materia, as well as the other stuff that thay have there which would be really useful.

I won 100 GP at that "pick-up-things-with-a-robot-arm"-game, dont know what it is called. Was that luck or is it not too rare? That was at disc 1, second time i were in Gold Saucer, just before I of an accident deleted my save!!
Next time I will make a back-up. Hope a fried to me got a save somewhere there.


EDIT: NOOO, just got reminded of all gil, GP and levels and hidden weaps I have to refind.

If you can't race with your own chocobo, you can always bet on other.

The system is the same...if you win 3 races (actually win the bet) you can compete at a superior class. The prizes are the same, just they are a little bit harder to obtain.

I wouldn't do the subamrine/motocycle vor 20-30 times, since it would be boring and pointless....winning 300 GP at a chocobo race is much simpler and fun.
