my theory is on sephiroth.

when sephiroth was concived he was a "normal" human however he was subjected to high levels of jenova cells which caused him to be the pearson he was.
also hojo wanted to make exact copies of sephiroth he then used jenova cells to do this but failed.

my theory is that the jenova cell carries with it a DNA one which replaces your own when subjected to high amounts there for causing a genitic mutation to happen.
Thats why hojo used them to make clones because the cell carries the DNA for sephiroth.

we know this because kadaj,loz and yazoo are the only clones we see other than cloud and they all kinda look like sephiroth not fully but in certain aspects like the long straight white hair.

now this leads to the question "why does'nt cloud look like that then?"
my answer to this would be that if remember from ff7 when cloud reacted violently to the jenova cells his body could of been fighting off the gene and rejecting it from the body as where others did not fight it.

this lead to the reason why hojo called him a falier because he rejected the cells.

this leads to the question why do the clones call her "mother"?
i would say that we inherite our genes for our parents that make up who we are,no because they all had jenovas DNA within their genes there for they think she is their mother.

Spoiler: If I remember correctly, Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo weren't proper Sephiroth Clones from FFVII, but they were remnants of Sephiroth left over somehow. I forget the exact details though.

i thought kadaj, loz and yazoo were clones because hojo says that he made 5, Yazoo, Kadaj, Loz, Cloud and Zack or at least thats what i think. Also i think they call her mother because the mind changes what it think to go with what jenova wants, to be mother so it can get mothers day gifts.

From what I understand, Loz Yazoo and Kadaj are not clones that were created by Hojo, but rather they were normal people who inherited a whole lot of Jenova's genetic material from the lifestream. Just as Jenova manifested her self in the children and in Cloud with the Geostigma, she manifested herself in the three of them, just a lot more. Thus they looked like Sephiroth and were the three most likely candidates for the Reunion.

They call the children with the stigma their brothers and sisters as well.

So yeah I believe that they simply inherited more of Sephiroth and/or Jenova while the others just developed Geostigma.

In fact it makes sense that these three inherited a lot of Sephiroth's genetic thoughts from the lifestream seeing as how they all look so much like him and are the most compatible people for the Reunion.

I don't think Hojo cloned them and I definately do not think that Zack was also a clone like Cloud. From what I gathered Zack was just a SOLDIER who was friends with Cloud while Cloud was trying to get in.

i know the 3 wernt created by hojo all i said was he used the same idea.

zack was a attempted clone before the nebilin iccident he was as normal as cloud but they were both subjected to jenova cells like all the others i dont think zack had a number because they were done by hojo or was it him because i get confused with when prof gast died.

They were not clones nor were they people who inhereted many Jenova cells from the Geostigma. They have no corporial bodies...think of them as the unsent of FFX. They are beings composed of Mako energy...THOUGHT made manifest. Who's thoughts? Why Sephiroths of course...that is why JENOVA is their mother.

This is not a theory. This is what came out with the interviews with the movies producers.

Kadaj, Yazoo, and Loz are all fragments of Sephiroths soul made manifest...their cloths, weapons, possibley even their motorcycles are all manifestations, just as Sephiroths Masamune is a manifestation in his fight agaisnt Cloud.

Cloud was subjected to Jenova cells...this is why he has the Geostigma. Zack and every other member of SOLDIER were subjected to them as well but they could TAKE them. It takes a human with incredible strong will not to lose their mind when subjected to the strain of enforced mako poisoning and Jenovas silent instincts clicking away. Those that aren't strong willed become the 'black cloaked men' that are seen in Nibelheim. Cloud is the same as the black cloaked men...he was NEVER in SOLDIER, but he was subjected to the same experiments in the Shin-Ra Mansion basement. The only difference between him and them is that his Jenova instincts allowed him to adopt the 'voice' and 'personality' of his friend Zack...allowing him a deluded existance of a kind based off his memories of Zack and Tifa's memories of Cloud.

Cloud never rejected the cells...if anything he was a PERFECT Sephiroth clone...easily manipulated by the instincts of Jenova and the will of Sephiroth. A perfect little puppet...unfortunately one that eventually snipped his own strings.

You see, JENOVA, the Crisis From the Skies, acts as a virus...turning those it approaches into monsters. Or at least she was until she was sealed. For all intents and purposes Jenova is 'dead', yet the cells remain vibrant and active, and continue to serve the viral function.

Sephiroth is the next generation of the virus...it attacks not just the mind and body, but the soul as well. Corrupting the lifestream through Geostigma, it festers and ravages the Planet from the inside, choking it to death. Sephiroth is becoming one with the Planet...not all at once as he wanted to with Meteor, but one soul at a time.

It remains ot be seen if he will manifest physically again, or if he will simpley work from within the Planet away from the meddling of Cloud and crew. But rest assured Sephiroth, and Kadaj, Yazoo, Loz, and JENOVA through him, will never remain mere memories.

Nice theory there, but I would have thought that Kadaj, Yazoo and Loz would've just inherited the Jenova cells through the Lifestream, as in the kids. Of course, you've disprooved that, and it actually makes more sense.

But the kids must have just inherited it through the lifestream, right?

Yes, the kids got their infections from when the Lifestream energy had to bolster Holy after it failed to properly counteract Meteor. As the lifestream spread, the cells from the clones that Sephiroth had killed as well as from the hunks of Jenova's body Cloud and crew disposed of spread throughout the populace, infecting the weak (the young, old, and injured). The death of someone with Geostigma (or Jenova cells within them) converts their lifestream energy into negative (black) lifestream energy...which Sephiroth uses as both a source of power and a means of dominating the planet.

I don't think he was normal Jenova was injected with some kind of alien genes and then gave birth to Sephiroth and passed those traits to Sephiroth and that iswhy he is very powerful and he was also given some of those mako cells too.

Good point, but remember Sephiroth is Hojo's child. Sephiroth was pure human at one time and then was injected with the jenova cells. And exposed to the mako. And with that he became an larva form of what he was and grew stronger until he became what he was at the end of FF7. Then it goes on from there and to what you are talking about with the lifestream.
