Contain Materia

I totally missed the contain materia from that choccabo. I cant get the master materia without it plz is there another way to get it?

I'm pretty sure you can still get it from the Chocobo.

Just go up that ramp to the left when you enter Mideel.

Speaking of contain, this is something I've always been somewhat unsure about... can you pair contain with either elemental or added effect?

I'm not sure if you can use Elemental with Contain or not, but DEFINITELY use Added Effect with Contain. Put it on your armor whenever you go to the battle arena. Protects against petrify, berserk, confuse, and paralysis. If you put it in your weapon instead, you have the chance of turning things to stone, berserking, confusing, or paralyzing them.

If Elemental and Contain don't work, you could always do Elemental and Fire, for example and use Contain to cast Flare on yourself to gain tons of HP.
