what did you use to beat ruby and emrald

i used quadra magic with Bahamut zero with mime for emrald on emrald
and on ruby i used nights of the round with mp turbo (makes almost evey knight do 9999) with master summon linked with mp absob.

The same for me, just that I had the Phoenix+Final Attack combo on all my chars. In rest just materias that I needed to master and 3-4 "All" materias so I would get some easy gil.

As for equipment, I had 2 chars with mystile and one with Ziedrich, all 3 had Ribbons, for accesories, while Cloud had Apocalypse as weapon and the other two their ultimate weapons.

Tifa + 2 x hp plus = 9999 hp
Barret + 2 x hp plus = 9999 hp

Emerald attacks with air stream (or something like that)

Cloud 9999 hp - 2222 hp = 7777 hp
Tifa 9999 hp - 2222 hp = 7777 hp
Barret 9999 hp - 2222 hp = 7777 hp

Emerald dead.

That wouldn't kill Emerald. I looked it up and even if you have all three characters on 7777 hp, they'd still only have 64 attacks between them, not each.

Well according to this:

They only have 64 attacks between them. Since 64 x 7777 = 497728 and Emerald has about 1 million hp, it wouldn't kill him. =/

If I'm honest I had to hit about ten times it/him/her/thing after I did all lucky sevens... but I didn't hit at all before he used that air stream attack...

It does work, after I heard about it I tried it, and it most certianly works. Just becuase you look something up doesn't mean it's true. Go try it for yourself.

Sorry do dissapoint you, but it doesn't. I don't want to start a fight or flame around, but don't correct people unless you know what we are talking about for sure.

Trust me, I tried all ways of killing Emerald, including equipping a char with HP/MP and using shield continuosly (and after a long fight I killed her without KOR), but the thing with lucky seven will never kill her, no matter how many chars got 7777 hp.

If you still don't believe me, I can send you a savegame for the PC version, just before fighting Emerald and you will see if it works or not.
