I have to say the best scene to me was the final battle between Cloud and Sephiroth when did his Omnislash and literally destroyed Sephiroth. Another scene I like is when you battle Safer Sephiroth, I like the supernova summon he does even through it hurts my party, and the One winged angel song was kick ass!

I liked the finale too. I found it great how there was no distinct ending, how you never found out what happened. The first time I finished it, i dremt about what might happen next to them. Yes, you can calle me a nerd if you wish! I also liked the FMV when the WEAPONs came out of Northern Crater, and the Sephiroth and Aeris bit. I liked the detail on WEAPON, and you could see how huge they were seeing them against the Highwind. The Sephiroth and Aeris bit I liked because it was unexpected and was a very important part of the storyline.

As soon as you leave Midgar.
It feels like the "start" of the game all over again for me, having this vast new world to explore. Actually, the part just after leaving Kalm after Cloud tells the story about Sephiroth, I think that takes too long to sit through, but after that then definitely is the best part, as you have the whole game ahead of you! |

My favorite section of the game I would have to say was the Linear Midgar section. I dunno why, but I tend to like Linearity. >_>
Maybe it was because it was even more story driven because there was no overworld yet or something like that though. I almost always enjoy long game introductions. As for a specific moment though, my favorite would have to be... the Midgar Flashback Scenes probably. |
