i use Ultima weapon and buster blade, ultima because its the best and buster blade because its like the trademark for cloud.

anyway i also used everyones weapon that had the growth on cause i mastered mimic 4 times and knights of the round 4 times just to beat ruby and emerald.

For the most of the game I prefer the Yoshiyuki cause not only does it look cool but it powers up majorly if any of your peeps die in battle. Yeah, I use the Ragnarock alot...I can't stand the Ultima weapon...and weapon that's power is based on status ( in this case HP leevll..so if you get hit hard..it's weak as hell )..forget it.

I use the Ultime Weapon. But he has 4x hit, deathblow, and all his limit breaks so nothing really survives. Plus Tifa always is healing cloud to make sure he stays fighting fit so it's a good set up with the sword I chose.
