Vincent vs Cloud

Well, let's see here, Cloud has a ridiculously large sword, while Vincent has twin guns. Cloud's blade is thick enough that he would be able to block the bullets, but he doesn't have the reaction time faster than the speed of two speeding bullets traveling a foot away from one another, hurtling toward his body. All Vincent needs to do is keep his distance and keep firing, and he'll win easily.

Actually Cloud got the reaction to block the bullets and that is what he did in AC against Yazo or Loz w/e...He was so ****ing fast that you would think he's dancing!!

well didnt you get what sephy said he said that "i will rule this planet for you mother" so how come he will destroy it if he wants to rule it???

This would be a tough decision, as both characters are pretty sissy at key moments in the game, leading to weakness. I'd say out of Cloud or Vincent, I'd pull for Vincent, since he can turn into crazy demons with his limit breaks. Who really knows what kind of latent powers lurk within him, as we only get to know a fraction of Vincent's story in FF7. Plus, Cloud's such a pansy throughout the whole game, even up to the end where hes all like "K guys Sephiroth is here, lets mosey lolz!" I swear the whole cross-dressing thing really got to him in some way...

I believe that Vincent is far stronger than Cloud. Remember that Vincent hosts the Chaos whose fate is to kill all life on Earth so that Omega can start his voyage in outer space.

Here's how the battle would go:
Cloud takes out his buster sword and Vincent loads his Cerberus. Vincent shoots Cloud but the bullet is blocked with the Buster Sword. Cloud unleashes his Omislash onto Vincent. Feeling too weak, Vincent falls onto the ground but Chaos takes over to save the day. When Vincent transforms all his life is replenished. Then Satan Slam, Chaos Saber, Death Penalty and Game Over.

i love how these arguements go but i still think Vincent is the obvious victor because he is able to morph his body around and he freakin jumps around like a ninja.

Well, Vincent has the ability to come out of nowhere and shoot him at point blank range in the head. Nobody can block that, except for the Terminator, and Wolverine.

Well Cloud can block that. The only bullet that I've ever see hitting Cloud is in AC...You know when he fight for the first time with the gray bros..

For all the times I've played FFVII, Vincent has never reached the point where his attacks are almighty powerful, whereas Cloud, with 4x-Cut, hits 9999 4x. So yea, refering to 'my' Cloud & Vinnie, Cloud takes the cake.

Plus, Cloud owns, a Sword would poon a gun...in FF terms.
