FFVII AC is Finally Here!!

Fellow Final Fantasy fans, our prayers have been answered! Final Fantasy VII: Advent Chlidren has finally been released in America! I managed to rent the movie, and it is an absolute eye popper! The graphics are amazing! The dialogue and story are moving! Please, those of you that have seen it, give me your take on it. Personally, I thought it was an excellent continuation of the game. But I want to know what those of you that saw it think. Please post your comments here!

I got it the first day it came out. The movie was awesome. I have a question for those that have it. The extras in disc 2 they show trailers for before crisis. They have a video showing an anime in the background is that in the game or is that a seperate anime?

I just picked up the DVD yesterday at my local best buy. I waited and waited and waited....AND NOW ITS MINE!!!!!!! BWAHAHAHAHA

Anyways... the movie was freakin gorgeous. More than I expected. The plot wasn't much, but the visuals and battle scenes made up for it. A must have.

As to the anime shown in the background for Before Crisis, some of it are snippits from Crisis Core (also known as Last Orders in japan) and some of it I think may actually be in game. But then its possible ot have short anime-ish movies on such devices these days, that doesn't mean its a complete movie.

I reserved my copy, and made any entire day of watching it all. It was most pleasant ^_^

My only real complaints are that Red didn't get enough lines, Sephiroth didn't use Safer form, and a few of the lines could've been delivered a bit better. Still, it was fun. As to costumn modifications, aside from the pink ribbons what exactly changed on Red XIII and Cait Sith? They seem mostly the same as before aside from Cait riding Red instead of his Mog.

...was Sephiroths wing on the wrong side on purpose? Hmm...I think so...

But yeah, of those whose costumns did 'change' I suppose I like Vincents the best. It didn't change all that much, but the additions of the tattered cape and the black leather are lovely.

I so want to have Last Order, now that I saw that little bit in the extras.

Of all the changes, I like Cloud's the best, although, I think that Vincent's swirling, deep red, luscious cape was the absolute best achievement of technology the movie has.
No kidding.

I bought my copy from Circuit City yesterday and watched it last night, along with other DVDs (Walk in the Clouds, and Remember the Titans). I care less about the changes in the costumes.

Well I like it, it's like the movie knows what it is. Its story isn't very deep or invloved, it kinda just knows what it is which I like. It's beautiful to watch and it entertained me the whole time I watched it. I like it and say it's wonderful, I probably could watch it several times due to the awesome fighting going through out the entire movie.

I haven't seen FFVII: AC yet. But I hope to soon.

A friend to me have it, both he and me says that we shall see it when I've finished FF7.

He have already seen it. And finished FF7.

I've seen it and tis AWESOME! Its great to see all the characters looking sp darn beautiful and hearing their voices (I thought all the voices were great) I've watched it about 10 times already and I'm still not bored of it!

As for costume changes, I think they're all great (Vincent's cloak is just the coolest) but I love Yuffies! Her blue top rocks! lol

And about those ribbons, why are they all wearing them? Is it mentioned in the game cuz its been donks since I last finished it or is it just something added in?

I havent seen it yet but i live in australia so it come out on the 3rd of may and im getting it the first day, just 4 more days. I have seen all of the costumes and i think clouds new black one looks the best, its just so darn cool. they are all wearing ribbons because ribbon in the game protects against status effects so it also is meant to protect them in the movie.

I like how Vincent's cape has become all tattered since the FF7 times, and all the buckles and stuff on his clothes. The cloak is textured, which adds more effect. I also like how the leather is made realistic on Kadaj's clothes. Tifa's clothes look better too, with the black clothes rather than the kiddish ones from the game.
