It's in memory of Aerith. Each member of AVALANCHE wears a pink ribbon on their left arm. I think they were all on the left, anyway. It represents what was lost in the struggle against Sephiroth.

It is different, but not by much. That's only with the dialogue, though. Everything else- graphic wise and plot wise, were the same. So, to answer your question; only the dialogue was different.

I went to futureshop (Canadian best buy), EB games, A&B sound, and blockbuster and none had any copies left. They were all sold out! I guess I'll have to rush order it from amazon.

Oh, and I picked Tifa's outfit as the best change because it matched her better as a motherly figure than her old, less than prude outfit.

I really didn't notice to much of a change in Vincent's costume. But the Turks blazers zip up? I mean I thought they were your normal every day button up blazer. But no they are cheapish...

As pertains to the ribbons, yes they are worn in remebrance of Aeris...even Barrets girl has one. The majority of the human characters wear them on their left arm, but REDXIII has his in his hair and a few of the others wear theirs in different places.

Yuffie actually has two, one for herself and one for her shuriken.

The Turks are cool one of the best bits in the movie is where Reno accidently crushes Rude's shades and Rude just pulls out another pair.

I found the scene where they're discussing the explosive absolutely hilarious. I don't picture Rude as a joking-around kind of guy. So when he was like, "You love it, I know." I like died of laughter. I have no clue why...o__o;

I actually just bought AC last night... and watched it right after I bought it.
Boy was I surprised! The action, the fighting, the glorious visuals!!! I loved it! I think I'm going to go watch it again to tell the truth. What I didn't understand was, there was hardly any materia in the movie, I mean yeah there was that one materia then those guys had a bunch... but Cloud had none!!!! Shoulda been more magic in the fights, but it was "Nucking Futs".

What I'm curious about, is what happened with Reno and Rude? They weren't even injured in the massive explosion? That's kinda weird...

They'd dropped them and ran off, I'm guessing. Otherwise we wouldn't see them standing with -coughcoughyouknowwhocough.- at the end of the movie.

I REALLY liked the english version, more than the japanese version. Mainly becuase in the english version, they added some more stuff. They also had voices, that didn't make them sound like *****s. lol

Okay, now, I'm saying this kindly yet again. They didn't add anything in the English version. It is exactly like the Japanese version. Though, alas, the Japanese version didn't have the second disk with the bonus features or come with a bonus disc. The English movie is NOT any different from the Japanese movie.
