In a fair combat, I reckon Sephiroth would win, because of what he has done to Cloud and the party in the past - 1) In the game, 3 people took on Cloud. At the end, Cloud could use his Omnislash straightaway. Do you seriously expect a villain to win the hero in a match, right at the end? 2) Cloud had to win in AC because it was a generic movie, therefore, it had to have the bad guy failing because it wouldn't be right now Cloud losing!! 3) You think bullets are going to stop Sephiroth? I'd like to see Sephiroth defend himself against a giant masamune.

n/a | You can argue forever which one LOOKS COOLER, but I think we can all agree Sephiroth would win in a one-on-one fight. Or maybe it would be like that scene in Indiana Jones, where he just pulls out a gun and shoots the guy with the sword. We'll never know. | ||||||||

However how many ppl did he have? 8, against how many 1? 8>1 Wow I mean I hope you can honestly win with those odds in your favor, and no the fight after Safer doesnt even count, as Sephiroth clearly already has his ass beat from fighting the whole party, so just cleaning up a mess that was made from 3 or 8(depending on if you switched) people isnt exactly beating either heads up 1 on 1. And the Nibelheim reactor, nope sorry wrong again. Thanks for playing. Stabbing a person in the back when they dont know your there isnt exactly beating them "fair and square". Had he faced Sephiroth face to face, he'd get owned. Bad. Sephiroth could use his telekinetic power, hold Cloud there and kill him. Don't flame me Cloud fanboys either, but I know I'll hear about it. As for the topic on hand, I'll take Sephy over Vincent anyday | ||||||||

2,183 | Ahhh, I'm just bringing later Compilation of Final Fantasy titles into this as well. The Vincent Valentine in the original FFVII would have no hope against that Sephiroth. But I then look at Advent Children where Sephiroth had his ass presented to him on a silver platter by Cloud, and then at how powerful Vincent has become in Dirge of Cerberus. You can barely see him and Weiss move. But here's a spoiler intensive clip. Don't watch it if you want DoC's story to be known in advance.
