How did you feel when...

lol...well, things seem to be shaping up rather nicely...but, her death was like a sacrifice/offering I think...maybe...But then again, who knows...

When I first played the game I was all
O_O OH MY GOD!!!!! AERITH!!!!

But nowadays I replay the cinematic over and over, laughing....ya thats harsh but what can I say....I'm a die hard Sephy fan =3. That and I love watching the blooper in that cinnematic -nods-

The blooper? I am not familiar with it...perhaps you could enlighten me? What about in other games...what specific parts stand out to you?

^_^ In the cinnematic when Sephiroth is ascending down he is not wearing gloves...but right after he pulls his sword out he is XD

Hmmm...I will have to watch that closer next time...So does anyone have any thought provoking moments of FFVII that they want to share?

First I was very sad, I admit it I even cried. Not the happiest moment in the game. I mean she never hurt anyone. Then I got really MAD and vowed that I (as Cloud) would find that Megalomaniacal SOB with delusions of Granduer and proceed to return his punk *** to the planet. He would pay for such a heinous act. I mean the President Shinra thing was at least called for, this was a senseless act!!!

it was sad when Aeris died but it had to happen since she was one of the last remaining Cetras

I cried alot becuse I thougt she was going to be the main love interest in the game especially after watching her 'date scene'.But after that story starts to focus on Tifa, its reaveled that she was the one Squre had in mind all long.

The first time I played this when that happened I hated it I actulally didn't believe it at first I turned off my game and didn't play it for like a week then when I did play it again and I watched Aerith die again I did cry a little it was so depressing

it was sad.. more sad at the time that it happened.. but looking back, as stated above somewhere the death of wedge and biggs was more sad.. they died needlessly, aeris knew she would die.. and there was purpose behind it.. sephiroth to take out a TRUE enemy to him.. wedge and biggs, just nothing to ShinRa in the big pictuyre

when i saw aeris die,i was startled.i had never before played a game where one of your basic characters dies.it was quite sad,hersacrafice for the planet's sake,the fact that she knew she had to die.on the other hand,i got so pissed off when i saw that cinematic 'cause aeris was one of my party members,level 56 & when i realised that my non party members were level 35 or so,i didn't know what to do.i used yuffie though,who was quite stong.they sould inform us first

why would you want them to inform you? it would have completely erased the goal square was going for, for you to become attached tot he character, and be sad/angry/upset when they died..

I didn't like her very much anyways.

She was all flawless and perfect and while older than Cloud seemed more like a little girl.

However in battle, she had little to no use. I mean, she has one amazing move that Heals everything, but you loser her on the first disk and it usually wouldn't be as useful till the end.
