Best final fantasy game?

Final Fantasy VII is a great game. I played it and love it alot, I like alot of things about it, but I can't say it's my fave. It's up there, but no it isn't #1 to me, though I do respect it and put it inn very high regards.

If Final Fantasy VII remains in its present form for many years from now, it will be stepped down by future critics. That means that it may be balked at by distant-future Final Fantasy fans, and call Final Fantasy XIII the wall of Final Fantasy's past, that future Final Fantasy fans will shun Final Fantasy games predating Final Fantasy XIII. 13 is considered by some to be an unlucky number, and Final Fantasy XIII may kill its predecessors and lead its predecessors to be forgotten. The critical status Final Fantasy VII will have the same fate as that of Final Fantasy I, that is, that future-generation critics of Final Fantasy VII will not make the same kind of reviews or think the same opinion as today's critics of the game. Final Fantasy VII will not have the same kind of reviews in 25 years time as it has now if it remains in its present form all-throughout those years. Final Fantasy VII will most likely not sell as well during the current, seventh generation console era or future generation console eras as it did during the past two console generation eras. Also, Final Fantasy VII is in limited print. If Final Fantasy VII is re-released in its present form in 25 years time, it will have a limited sales run, and panned by future critics. It is the truth that most future gamers will despise Final Fantasy VII for its outdated graphics and mediocre soundtrack if the game remains in its present form in 25 years time.

I am not really a big fan of Final Fantasy VII, and I have never played it before. I have played the Final Fantasy games predating VII. I also think Final Fantasy VII is overrated, and that Final Fantasy X-2 is underrated.

I think Final Fantasy X and XII are better than Final Fantasy VII. Final Fantasy X is considered by the Japanese, according to Famitsu, as the best game ever. Final Fantasy XII received a perfect score from Famitsu. Famitsu is known for its strict scoring standards.

No, she is just great. I wish I could run around with her though. A girl playing cloud is just weird. But cloud is hot so I do not mind that much.

Definitely one of the most popular, and it re-defined single player RPGs. Also my favourite, but as has been said, that's just opinion

I think is the best TO DATE. No idea about future cause it's obvious there are deffinetly more to come! As far as Im concerned FFVII has had the best story, best characters, and is just my favorite all around. It's the FF that got me hooked on all the others!

I think VII is my favorite just for the simple fact that this game was the one that made me fall in love with FF for all time.

It's the most popular but that doesn't mean it is the best.

i personallt think Final Fantasy VII is the greatest game ever made but some people don't and its all just a matter of opinion, but havn't there been these threads before with people asking if Final Fantasy VII is really that good or not?

If I posted here two weeks ago, I would have said about FFVIII and the reasons that I've posted too many times in many threads, like because of the big variety of the Guardian Forces, the realistic towns and villages, the storyline and the junction system, but last week I bought FFIV and changed my mind. That is the best Final Fantasy. Each character has his/her own abilities, the storyline is really really good, and generally everything on it is great. However, the graphics are one of it's cons. But for those that don't mind, like me, then it's strongly suggested. The battle system is as it should be on every game of the series, and I believe it cimbines the best elements of other games of the series. Moreover, when it came out, it was the first Final Fantasy with such a good love story, speaking of Cecil-Rosa.

FFVII, is considered by many people as the best, and I believe that it was the game that introduced most of people in the Final Fantasy world. In my opinion, it's a bit overrated. I admit that it was a good game, but not the best. There were other better than that. I believe that VIII and IV were two of them, and I'm convinced that VI is better, too. I haven't played, yet, but when I do, I will probably like it, from what I've read about it, at least.
