Which party leader?

My favourite leader was Cid. Again, this is because of his running style. Was almost as if he provided the comic relief after the serious events that had just happened purely by jogging around a bit

Cloud was the leader most, we didn't get to see Cid or Tifa much.
I can't really develop an opinion, but I voted Cloud.

I don't think there was any arguing going on here... I think that this was an opinion thread The kind where people say why their opinion is as such. And your opinion, apparently, is that changes suck. I like changes, though. And my opinion is more important than yours, because I'm cooler than you are In my own opinion, of course.

To add to what I said earlier, Cid also the most bad ass. I mean, he wants you to "drink the damn tea!" He also smokes a cigarette! That is the bad-assiest thing of all bad ass things you could possibly do! Right there!

I'm going to go with Cid. On the grounds that Tifa was just desperate when she was team leader and Cloud was actually trying to act like Zack would've the whole time. Cloud is no leader, and Tifa is a stereotypical follower. Cid might mix up who had what materia and curse a lot...but @#$%, he gives the best god@!#$@#$ motivational speeches in the game so show some respect ya @#*$ @#$234 @#$*ers!

Well, i also say Cid's the best as he has such a cool attitude! Probably the best attitude of all FF characters. He's a nice guy but he rants and raves and throws a few "shits" and "****s" about the place like any raging alchoholic! Plus his get up and go ways are way better for the leader job.

Just thought of something else. Cid has a tragic past, spikey hair, AND goggles. Thus he is far more suited for leadership by japanesse standards. (as opposed to Tifa who just has a tragic past and cloud who has a tragic past and spikey hair...no word back on if a big sword makes you a better leader or just a badass though...still out to lunch on that one)

Man, this is question is both difficult and stupid.

I like Cid the best of the choices, because I liked him the best as a character. His personality, battle abilities, and text throughout the game was great. But I don't know if I'd consider him a good leader character. He's the captain of a ship, and not really a battle party in my mind.

I think Cloud filled the role good, and he had the best motivation to go after Sephiroth, therefore I could see him leading the charge and the group as well, based upon the storyline.
