If you're talking about Clouds ultimate weapon though...well its not technically in the Ancient Forest.

yeah im talking about his apocalypse weapon. i dont think you can get the ultimate weapon without first beating ultimate weapon, but if you beat ultimate weapon you can access ancient forest ..(i think), however i wouldnt need to if i did beat it. cause i dont think i'd need his apocalypse, unless i wanted to sell it for gil, which i have enough.

Apocalypse is the best weapon in the game for materia growth though. Triple AP isn't something to sneeze at when you want to max out a Final Attack - Revive combination of materia.

But yeah, you can get in there without a gold Chocobo before you kill Ultima, I'm failry sure.

...at the Gold Saucer you nutter. Pay attention to the storyline

go to that lone house on the penensula near Gonga Village (the Weapon sellers house), talk to the guy in there. then go to the Gold Saucer and talk to Dio. Then he'll have you fight in the Battle Arena...you don't have to get far but you DO have to win. (if you go all the way you get some extra stuff on top of the Keystone) then there'll be a bunch of storyline stuff I won't spoil, but BASICALLY you'll be able to get in the Temple of the Ancients.

"i'm having an issue with Red XIII's level 4 limit break, cosmo memory. obviously, i obtained from defeating lost number when you crack the safe in shinra mansion, and now it's an item in my list, however it's not allowing me to set Red XIII's limit level to 4, so i can use it... and it won't let me give it to him through the item list, so what am i doing wrong, or do i have to get past Disc 1 before he's allowed to use it, and if so, will it automatically let me set his limit level to 4?"

to let u know u need to have all of his other limit breaks before u can use the last one like if u only have his first couple limits it will say hes not ready or somthin

It's in the Battle Square at the Gold Saucer. You need to get enough Battle Points for it.

i dont know how to get the white box with the quote but to the person who asked how to get w-summon u just go to battle sqaure arena in gold saucer and pay 10 points to get in then after every round u get an average of 10000 points and w-summon cost 64000 beware not to leave tho because ur points dissapear if u leave the arena and ur hp and mp is restored after u quit or win the round

It's in Midgar in the subway tunnels under Sector 8 on disc 2.

If you miss it there, you can dig it up in Bone Village after that.
