What is your favorite Summon from FF7?

My favorite would have to be Bahumat Zero. He is so damn cool. He is the stroungest of the Bahumats. He has one of the coolest attacks.

I actually liked Bahamut Neo the best of the Bahamuts, I thought Zero was a little over the top and KoTR was just overkill.

My favorite summon is Hades, I love his animation and I thought his attack while not physically strong was easily the best debilitator in the game. With a possibility of 7 negative status effects he could really mess up the enemy.

I have to agree with you about Hades. He has a good attack yes. But his elements that he cast on the enemies don't all ways work. They hardly ever work on a boss. Like a weapon. Bahumat Zero comes in hand, because he can do a good amount of damnge to his enemies.

Slow almost always works on bosses. Regardless if you were going to use a damage spell or summon, why not just use KoTR, I mean Zero is good, but so is Typoon or Bahamut Neo, they all can't exceed 9999 damage though, only Knights will allow you to do that. Hell, you can just skip the animation time of summoning and just use Ultima if you don't want to do over 10 K damage.

So i don't understand the point of saying Zero is that useful when in reality about 4 other attacks can do just as good as he can and Knights can do more damage.

I know this. That isn't the only reason he is my favorite though. He is cool as hell looking. He flies from behind earth and shoots a big beam down from space. He has sic wings. He looks like a Robot. How cool is that?

No no no fellas, the original Bahamut is the best. He certainly wasn't the strongest, but he was the coolest. well IMO atleast

I voted for Neo Bahamut in that poll, because of those choices I thought he was the coolest. However, wasn't Alexander in FFVII? It's been a while since I've played that one, but wasn't he in there somewhere?

I enjoy several summons in VII. But the one I truly think is fantastic is Bahumat Zero. I used him constantly through the game. I had Vincent as the summoner, Tifa as a healer, and Cloud as the warrior. I also mastered Bahumat Zero, I don't know why, but I had enough time where I ended up doing that. So if I had to choose, it would without a doubt be...the one and only Bahumat Zero.

I would have liked Pheonix even better if they had incorporated four characters into battle instead of three, but I still think it's one of my favorites. I mean, think about it -- what would you do if you were fighting a couple tough random enemies, and you're about to finish off the last one, when all of the sudden they pull out an attack that causes damage to you and revives the rest of 'em?

Knights of the Round was kinda cool, but just...overkill. I didn't think anything was supposed to be that powerful. But then again, I stay away from the Gem Box Quick/Ultima trick in FFVI, or even the Genji Glove/Offering.

I'd have to say Knights of the round because they were the ones who helped me beat that one sea creature.

Yeah, I thought Bahamut Zero was the best Summon in Final Fantasy VII. I also liked Choco/Mog because it was really cute. It might not have been very powerful but it was adorable!

I liked Neo Bahamut but also Hades and Knights of round as KOR as they did awful lots of damage
