mine would be Wark! Wark! oops...hehe of course Choco-Mog materia hehehe !

*but seriously man I really like 4x-cut, put this baby in any character and they exterminate the enemy!and the way they attack four different times is cool!its like a combo attack right!

My favorite materia is 4x-cut, mime, mega all, master magic, master command, and master summon.

i have always liked the Break Materia. it teaches you Flare, Freeze, and tornado. or something along those lines.

Hmm... well my favorite materia would have to be mime, 4X-cut, ultima, and KOTR

My favorite Materia's are basicly 4x-Cut, Quadra Magic, Shield, and of course Ultima. Never leave home without it.

Did anyone ever notice it that when you cast Ultima you could say 'Ultima' and it echoes with the screen. Just try it out, and you'll see what I mean.

I like W item... with that u can make unlimited megaelixir and elixir, the last one is for geting the most of ap and exp when u kill magic urn in northern cave =D

Definitely the 2x/4x Cut materia. That little guy saved my butt so many times, which is kind of sad to have to rely on that, but regardless it did.

Especially in the Battle Arena when I was almost about to bite the big one, Cloud would whop some ass with 2x/4x Cut.

Ultima has to be the best absolutely devastating

Can we include the Master Materia in our list, or would that be a little too much...?

A completed Enemy Skill Materia would be all you'd really need for using throughout the game. It has every type of spell you'd ever want or need.

Mine is Choco-Mog summon. Becuase at random times it summoned Fat Chocobo, and who doesn't like fat animals! Exspecially when they fall from the sky!

My favorite was and still is HP <> MP materia... with that and 9999 hp (with a HP plus materia of course, and a couple mastered MP plus materias... you can have, I belevie 9999/9999... that combined with w-summon, and double cut, pheonix/final thingy mix and the rest as master materia... one badass character...

I like X2 cut cause it turns into slash 4 times

The x4 Cut isn't that useful when Chocobo catching. Because you can't decide on which enemies to attack you may end up hitting the Chocobo, which would run away so you couldn't catch it.

The same with the Slash-All Materia (or even attacking when you have Mega-All equipped.)

And what about if you want to leave one enemy alive so you can steal from it, and kill the ones you've stolen from already so they don't bother you anymore? I think x2/x4 Cut and Slash-All/Flash are useful in ordinary battles (and the Battle Square) but can be trouble sometimes...

But you could always just un-equip those Materia when hunting Chocobos or trying to steal stuff, I guess.

Hmm... Mega-All & Mug would be pretty useful. Especially as Mega-All and Mug combined with the Added Cut Materia.
