If any of you would bother to look at the FFXII forum, you'd see it has nothing to do with ANY of the previous FFs. I even posted trailers of the game!

okay, here's what I heard: It's not a continuation of 7, their just remaking it for the PS2, as a part of that Advent Children movie. I'm not sure how reliable this is, but that's all I've got.

No...There is no remake whatsoever. There's a spinoff with Vincent called Dirge of Cerberus (Thread in existence somewhere in here.), and then a DS game, I think. Or was it PSP?

If anything, FFXII will be more of a sequel to FFT and Vagrant Story than anything else.

EXACTLY.... don't know who's spreading the VII rumor but it is most likely false. Have you even looked at the game? It is more of a Final Fantasy Tactics/XI/Vagrant Story than anything. Check FFXII.com. I think they may have more info on it.

It's PSP, and I created a thread just like this before and it got closed.

There is not and I repeat, there is not going to be a
FF7-2. They were thinking about it a long time ago but they said it would be imposible to make the story line to it. I remeber reading it somewere at GameStop.com.

Anywho, I'm just saying there isn't going to be a FF7-2. They are making games that relate to FF7, but that's about it.

Heh, *Nods* all true, it's supposed to be based something on the world of Tactics. The rumors I heard were that it was actually in the world of FFT. FF12 is in Ivalice, I'm sorry, but I forget if that's the FFT world for sure, but I'm pretty sure it is. Another thing, Before Crisis and Crisis Core are not coming to America and BC is for the Jap phone, which you could go to Japan for the game and read it all in Jap. Crisis core is barely starting, but I think that is for the PSP, but hell if I know.

FF-XII will have it's own story. It has nothing to do with FF-VII or any other FF parts.

FF-VII is not going to have a remake. Advent Children is the continuation of it, but it is not a game.

Beside that, they are going to have: Dirge of Cerberus, Before Chrisis and Crisis Core. They all belong to the FF-VII Compilaton.

Anyway, FFXII has f*ck all to do with FFVII, I have more to do with FFVII than FFXII does. There has been trailers, images, pre-released box-art and little storyline hints of XII and yet people STILL go on about FFXII being a continuation of FFVII, Well if you LIKE FFVII so much, GO PLAY IT.
