Best FF7 Character?

Hehehe, i couldnt resist.. I dont see one around Midgar now so why the hell not eh?... lol... anyway, i have more then a few favorites, and i'll explain them to ya.. hehe.

Cloud, i think he is a valuable asset to the party during anytime of the game, his Swords are usually the most Weapons in the game, and they deal a mighty fine amount of damage.. aside from that, he is a good all-round as far as Attack, Defense, Magic, HP go. His limit breaks are by far the most insanely powerful set then any other character IMO, Omnislash has no equal. Particular given the fact that it ignores the Defense of the victim(s) and does around 150% Damage per hit, Not bad at all.

Tifa, damn shes hot and got nice breasts

but err.. yeah, the main advantage that she has over every single team member is the fact that she is the fastest (has the highest natural Agility) the Weapons that she wield however, arent anywhere near as powerful as what Cloud can carry, but they have a much higher Hit% which makes pretty much 100% of her attacks on par (make contact, do damage) not to mention her Limit Breaks, they do insane damage, providing you get them all on Yeah!.. heh, she is a good Supportive member for the party, but she can hold her own and do a good offensive if need be.

Aeris, well, i dont like her much at all.. but her natural Magical Power is beyond ANY character in the game, even if they have Materia equipped, heh.. if she was at Level 99 her Magic Attack/Defense would be superior to everyone... but thats the ONLY thing she has going for herself, her HP, Attack, Defense are all low and not very helpful when she is in the front row.. her Weapons arent even worth mention, heh, the weakest in the game her staves are.. lol.

Barret, he is a damn tank for Defense and HP, he is a good front-line guy, if you give him the better weapons in his arsenal (the Guns arent the most powerful weapons in the game IMO) the good thing about this guy is, he does have the most HP (naturally) then any other character, but if he has the Cover Materia he can be a real life saver earlier on in the game, and his Limit Breaks are a force to be reckoned with.

Cid, is probably a better all-rounder then Cloud is, he can more then capably perform all the tasks that Cloud can, and in some cases, even better.. since his HP growth is a tad higher, and his Strength, Vitality is aswell (naturally) some of his Spears (Venus Gospel in particular) are unique, as far as Slots and Growth for Materia go.. but the deal with the Venus Gospel is, the damage you deal out is based on yoru current MP count right? so, it has the potential to be the most powerful weapon in the game, next to Clouds Ultima Weapon. Cid's limit breaks are also quite a force to be reckoned with, particularly the Level 4 one.

Yuffie, shes a sneaky little bitch eh? apart from the whole "steals everyones materia and be's a total child" thing, she is pretty good for her Speed (not as fast as Tifa though) and Limit Breaks (particularly Level 3 LB's) she is rather average for Magical Strength without materia boostings, and her weapons arent all THAT strong, but still good enough to help the party out. So i could say she IS a good character to have handy, she isnt my favorite though.

Vincent, this guys Guns are pretty handy to have around, but the only real good thing that Vinny has going for him is his ability to Morph into a certain monster for each Limit Break level. Even though it takes quite a beating to achieve a Level 4 Limit Break, his transformation into Chaos is WORTH EVERY SECOND OF IT!! he does insane damage to everything in site, and he also gets an extreme HP boost from his transformation (usually gets to 9999).

Hehe, so from that, i could easily say that Cloud or Tifa (and MAYBE Yuffie) are my favorite character's, but i can only vote for one, so i'll give it to Tifa, for being a sexay bitch

Whoa..sorry if my post isnt as detailed as yours. Anyway, I got three.

Barret: Big cool black guy that has a damn gun on his hand. Plus he is always damn funny. Very strong member of my party, and I use him in most of the boss battles.

Cid: The crazy old pilot that carries a spear. An old school weapon in a new school game..very cool. Funny man here too. Not one of my best characters, but I loved to use him during scenes to make some comedy.

Tifa: For every Limit Break, she gets to use that one and all her old ones. Coolness. The fists arent too cool, but the boobs are. Again, not to strong, but fun to use in scenes.

Adding to that 12,000 post count on FF huh Dawezy? You know have many post people will lose in the cut?

Anyway, I have seen this thread around here so many times. I'll go again as I always do. I prefer Cloud and Red XIII. Cloud has all of his problem in his mind and everything that he has made himself believe to be true. The guy is real messed up and that is what is so great about him.

Red XIII is just great, a lion like creature that can talk, the only animal that I ever controlled in a game, he was a great character and his mysterious past that comes out. He had a great scene with his father.

What the **** man, no villains? XD My only vote is for Vincent and Cloud. No, I'm not going for the 'bishies' again, but they ALWAYS had the highest level on my party, and I finished the game so many times already. They were the most reliable, and always the last ones to die. I'm very awed by their limits too, although I think Aeris' limit is hella cool too.

Cloud , Sephiriot and Red XIII are the best characters because... they are best !!! And the of these three is Cloud with Red XIII.
Red XIII because he is Lion fighter.Cloud because he is best in all character things in final fantasy 7.

It's pretty obvious who my absolute favorite is. Sephiroth is just damn cool. It just sucks that I couldn't get to control him when I used the GameShark cheat. *sigh* But really, love the clothes, sword, y'know, all that gorgeous appearance and godly intentions and presence. What an icon.

I vote for Vincent and Vincent only

He has the best limit breaks, and can do full damage from the back row, his charcter background is the best in the game, and all round he is the best computer game character ever created

Well I guess Sephiroth is my favorite character ...
His appearance makes him cool , and the way he doesn't give a shit about anything except being all-powerfull helps me to make this dision as well I guess

I vote Cait Sith, and yes, I am serious. I don't see why people dislike him so much. I like him because he's a unique character, there are absolutely no other characters like him in the FF series.

If it weren't for Cait tho I'd vote Tifa, mainly coz she's dayum fine, heheh. I mean, the chest says it all.

Vincent - All I got to say is Chaos. That sums up my reasoning.

Cid - Come on, anyone that curses like sailor deserves at least one vote. And, he is just has this styles about him that isn't done well very often in FFs.

EVERY character in FFVII was good; even Cait Sith. If you remember back to who Cait Sith really is, you can tell he was not just an extra character thrown into the story. But anyway, I think Cloud's story is the best. He used to work alongside the main villain, and was exposed to Mako. The flashbacks are the best!

Yeah man..I seirously voted for Cait Sith as well..nothing wrong with that guy. I always prefer the a bit what weirder character, like Quina in FFIX and Cait in FFVII. He just simply rules, espaiclly when you meet him at the ebgin and he pops out those fortune telling things. It's strange..

Otherwise I would vote for Sephiroth, but I have voted him for so many times that I decided to choose Cait Sith this time..
