The developers did it so he could look a bit more like Angeal, y'know, carry his legacy with a little more style xD

They had to make his hair longer. When they showed him in Final Fantasy VII, he had long hair, so naturally, in Crisis Core, he eventually had long hair.

In FFVII he did look like Raditz in Clouds clothing, weilding a Giant Buster Sword.lol. I prefer his hair at the beginning of Crisis. It looks cool, and saves us from having another 'long-haired' warrior (Sephi, Angeal, Vincent, Partially Genisis).

replay the game. in the beginning of the game Zach has shorter hair. by the middle of the game YEARS not days or months have gone by, which is why his hair is different. the day Cloud was referring to is the day that Zach became a soldier first class and started wearing his hair differently. and if you think about it some more, when Zach dies, it had already been 5 years since he and Cloud were in the fight with sephiroth in the mako reactor then taken to Shinra Manor. so S-E is trying to show that he is getting older, more mature with the hair growth.

I was shocked to see Zacks hair on CC beacuse I was used to seeing the long spikey amalgamation of hair from FFVII but I guess it just changed.....LOL Super Sayian Zack.

yah towards the end after they escape zacks hair is longer because hes been in a testtude for a few years now and yah zack's fair change a couple of missions after becomin a first class to the zack we all no and most of use love

Thats an understatement... I dont think anyone really dosn't like Zack. The only reason some people dont like zack is the same reason some people dont like Sephiroth, beacuse they are so dam popular.

Oh and for all future references, Genesis is not in the long haired weirdos club....hes too cool for it.

Hair growth is normal.... Plus, I don't think Zack had time in his day to stop and get a Haircut If I was a Mako infused super soldier I really wouldn't care about how long my hair was. Just look at Sephiroth, I love his luscious locks.

Yes, Zack's Hair did get longer, but this is because of Time. At some point in the story, you had Zack with his Short hair, but then after a Cutscene of some sort, you get to play him with long hair. This is because the cutsceen skips you to a few years in the Future, because time had passed. I've played the game, so I know what your talking about.
