That anoyed the crap out of me, beacuse Zack sees him sleeping in a COFFIN and just leaves him there! WTF?! He drags cloud on a long journey and cloud could have been dead but he didn't even bother to help Vincent. However its fun opening the coffin that Vincent sleeps in on every FF sequal, (I opened it on DOC and a soldier jumped out and attacked me!)

I was crying when Zack was forgetting everyone, but I really lost it when Cloud found Zack T.T It was a great ending, and I have actually replayed it a few times. (I saved at the Genesis Avatar fight) <---Way too easy for a final boss >.< I beat him at lvl 36. 36!!!

Yes, the ending was very touching and sad indeed. I thought I was ready for it, because I knew what was going to happen to Zack in the end. I wasn't. He turned out to be a really fantastic character, and I felt emotionally involved with the story.

I admit now, that I did get a little depressed for a while when I saw the ending.

I don't think it would have affected me so much if Cloud didn't scream out in agony when Zack passed on. That was really hard to watch.

I just finished it and watching the credits (can't skip them). It was a really sad ending, I didn't cry but was very close to it. What are those white figures on the DMV, as it crumbles?

I think Zack Fair is easily the best character in the Final Fantasy series. I'm on my fourth playthrough of the game and even still the ending makes me cry - especially those final words: "Hey, would you say I became a hero?"

Overall great game and the best ending I've ever seen.
