I recently got my hands on the film FF7 Last order from a friend who went abroad, the film is subtitled, i would like to know if anyone else has seen this 25 minute prequel to FF7 and if so what they thought of it. the films release in america is september this year though if anyone has been abroad to japan or china and has watched it please tell me you thoughts. in my opinion it was okay but the time spent making this could have been put towards trying to re-make ff7.

I watched the Last Order along time ago. Got it off Bittorrent but don't remember the site. It was pretty good showing backstory to the game, it was mainly focoused about Zack. Im waiting for the game to come out for it on the PSP, it looks good from what I have seen in trailers. Zack meets Cloud and they become friends and Zack meets the origanal weilder of the Buster Sword.

I watched it on the Japanese version of Advent Children I bought off ebay last year. Which I still own it, and thought it rocked. I wished it was longer.

Yeah the japanese version of advent children was amazing, but way too short. I wish they made more movies about final fantasy, i mean, there is a huge player base, i am quite sure they would be popular. If a new final fantasy movie was launched in theaters today, i would be the first one to go see it

I've looked around but haven't found even one pure SE dubbed version of Last Order.

I will i be able to find last order on limewire?? as i had a hard time gettin advent children, then wen i did find 1 that said english it wasnt it jus had english subtitles, then found out i coulda got it on ebay for less than a fiver lol

I bought the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children box set, and the movie came with Last Order in the special features part. I thought it was great to see my favorite characters in animated form, but I didn't care for the fact that some of the story was changed around during the Nibelheim incident. But that's just me being picky. I did enjoy it because this was the first time I got to see Zack in proper action. I watched it way before I played Crisis Core.

I bought it off Amazon then informed my mother she owed me 25 quid becuase it was my bday prezzie from her. I also had to snaffle a region unlocker disk thing so i coulkd actullay WATCH the bloody thing

Anyway, I thought it was ok, can't say I wasa fond of Sephiroth jumping into the reactor mind, of all the things to fiddle with and change it was that...also the scene with Tifa where she said he (Cloud) had come like he promised.... although I could write that off as memory loss on her part, but still....

I liked it as a whole, whether it was worth paying 25 quid just for that and the pretty box though is debatable, I already have the PAL version, and now there's ACC which I will NOT be buying... ]:<

Last Order explained a lot for me. Like how Cloud, and Zack got in the Shrina Mansion. Then being test subjects for hojo.

I saw last order just before playing crisis core, for some reason it seemed to make the 2 games make a lot more sense to me, its like a missing link.

As for a remake of FFVII, I really dont see it happening, i know they did that Tech Demo but that was just to display the power of the PS3, it would be nice though....

It would show the power of the PS3, but dont you think that it would 'ruin' FFVII in some ways?
Personally I'll always remember FFVII as little characters with no mouths and Square hands. It's the trademark I guess...

I've seen it, its awesome really brings the story together between Crisis Core & FFVII

There is one part in the Last Order that did not sit well with me; during the fight between Cloud and Sephiroth in the mako reactor there was an error that wronged Cloud. In Final Fantasy VII, during this fight, Sephiroth impails Cloud and Cloud grabs hold of the Masamune, lifts the Masamune and Sephiroth, and throws Sephiroth into the Lifestream. In the Last Order, Sephiroth jumps into the Lifestream willingly - Cloud does not throw him over. The error fails to show the potential power that Cloud exhibited in that scene in the game. The showcase of power sent the message that Cloud was somebody that could become very powerful and that he was special (and not in a retarded way for all you jokesters).
