Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Limited Edition Collector's Set has been released. It's basically what the japanesse got for their special release, including the anime Lost Orders, but also includeds interviews with the english voice cast. There are a few other extras, including a copy of the movies script, a side story novel that features various FFVII characters, and a few high resolution image post cards. The box set sells for about $50 but can be purchased for cheaper at various other retailers.

I got the DVD when it was first released so I kind of have reservations about paying that much for what is essentially not much of anything new. The Novel is interesting to me, though, because I wonder if its 'On the Way to a Smile' or maybe that side story that was done on Aeris after she died and entered the lifestream. But yeah...

Anyone heard anything else about this? Also, anyone planning on getting it/ignoring it?

Im planning on getting two of them lol one for my viewing pleasure and the other for my mint condition FF collection , cant wait forit to come out i wanna see the script

I saw it at best buy a few months ago and got it on a whim. It was only and extra $10 more than the price of the regular DVD. I guess it is worth but I have no intention of actually using the postcards, Im keeping them. The book with the sidestorys explains some things about the movie which it didn't show like how Cloud found Denziel and brought him to the bar. Its like tells how everyone was doing after the end of the game and moving on with there lives before the movie.

I own the special edition. You get a two disc dvd with all the features you named. You also get photos of the characters along with the script, and a novel with side stories on many characters including Barret and Denzel.

im not sure, i have the box set, but i heard there was a Book of Advent Children, im not sure that Enix would write a book about it, but i'd buy it

i want to get it but i really dont want double copys of movies that i already own, so i think i am going to have to pass on this one. or i might just buy it then get rid of the other one...

I have the original DVD release, the limited edition box set, and the Blu-ray version.

Yes, that makes three versions of the same film that I own.

If I could find it on UMD I would probably get that as well, because I am a slave to Square-Enix.

I really have no idea why I kept purchasing the same movie, I just did.

I never owned Advent i just borrowed my friends.This gives me a good opportunity to get a great set for a pretty good deal. Now i know they sell at best buy where is it the cheapest?
