I enjoyed DoC myself, though not really so much the first playthrough. Playing it on the hardest difficulty and unlocking everything were the real joys of DoC. And while the main storyline was a little to easy no matter how you went about it, some of the unlockables were a good bit more challenging. And there's no feeling like holding a hybrid long range rifle/machine gun/assault rifle thing with fire magic. And I liked the story too. Even if it took a couple of playthroughs to understand it all.

Ugh o", not made for shooters but I did beat the game!! yay!! It didn't captivate me like FF usually does oh well wasn't the best but still it wasn't that bad I tried the hard mode first ugh i'm really crazy It was the second shooter game I played after playing Like 2 times at 007 james bond on N64

Many people are saying it was too short but a lot of other games are just... too long. Besides, it was a side story anyway and was kinda meant to be short. Plus, there were extra missions and stuff you could go back to and a bunch of other things to unlock. So yeah. Personally I enjoyed it. I thought the battle system was great. I don't really like the battle systems they use in other final fantasies but the whole first person thing made me like it a lot. It was nice to see a side story of Vincent as well. He was one of the greater characters in seven and it made me understand him more.

So anyway... in conclusion, I liked this game. XD

It was okay.
I really wanted no know more about the FFVII world, but, somehow, I just got bored.
The environments weren't all that great, maybe that's what did it and I just quit on my way to the Shinra Mansion, yeah, I didn't last long.
I might finish it one day, right now, I have other games that I'd rather finish first.

I do have a place in my heart for this game, but I too feel that it could have been just, well, more!!! I thougt the idea was fantastic (yaya Vincent in his own game!) and there was a hell of a lot of potential, but it was a short game, and some of the story was a bit cringy and melodramatic. Lucrecia totally bombed for me, they made her really whiny, and Hojo was just incredibly annoying. But it was great to say I never play shooters, I got into it and had a good time. Vincent rawks whatever he appears in

I really liked the game the story was good and the gmeplay was fairly good considering this is squares first shooter. Watching Vincent kick ass made my year XD

the gameplay has alot to be desired and the camera is amazingly bad but the story, characters, and music as amazing I loved it

Im in the middle of playing it at the mo, but im loving the storyline and finding out more about vincent (hes 1 of the coolest) but im finding d games getting rather hard after beating rosso she was one tough lady and im kinda freaking out on how i guna beat nero whos ment to be coming up

any tips please let me know lol

Personally, I didn't like this game. I still haven't finished it, but so far it hasn't been that enjoyable. The story isn't that great compared to the original Final Fantasy VII. Probably the biggest reason why I don't like this game is because I'm not a big fan of FPS games. I would rather just replay FFVII than play this game.

Personally, I loved it. It answered a lot of questions regarding Vincent and Sephiroth left over from FF7, and the gameplay was great. I just wish it was longer and more challenging.

I loved the game. Vincent is one of my favorites from VII. I loved getting to see more of his back story. I also liked the game play. It was a shooting game, but it didn't make me dizzy like some of the other ones.
