Okay, Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII has been out for almost two weeks now and I thought it might be time to make a help thread. Please don't get this thread confused with the other Dirge of Cerberus thread, and mods please forgive me if there is already a thread like this or if, for some reason, the Final Fantasy VII help thread is combined with Dirge of Cerberus. So basically, if you are stuck, or are having any problems completing something in Dirge of Cerberus, feel free to ask for help here.

Inventory | If you die, keep trying again. If you have to, use all your experience to level up and use potions and pheonix downs whenever you can. If I remember correctly, there are a large amount of crates around the area, you should be able to find a ton of potions, and the soldiers that come from the dragonfly also may drop potions too. Hopefully this helps.

Inventory | I would suggest tryign to get a kill chain going by eliminating the soldiers that the heli drops and then aim for the heli's nose cone. If nothing else, keep your cross hairs on the nose cone and fire away as that is the first boss's weak point.

Inventory | personally i think its worth it. maybe its just coz i really like final fantasy 7. but if you like rpgs and shooting games, this is one combined. its made for PS2 and also it sort of has the same controls as if you were playing halo. right trigger=shoot, push right analog=scope, etc. Also if you dont really know or ever got to know Vincent's background and what he's all about and you want to know... i suggest you use this game as a source. It tells a lot about him. So yeah, i think it's worth it. If you're still not sure, then try renting it somewhere and try it out for yourself.

| Rides the Shoopuf. ;) | Different modes for different things. There is a faq on gamefaqs if you search for Dirge Of Cerebus. If you see hidden targets in game, shoot them for unlockables. There are more than can be found in the main game mode though. Do the extras. | ||||||||

| Rides the Shoopuf. ;) | And there are targets to hit in the 'actual game' They look like cylinders and if you look closely you'll find them.In the first part of the game one was in a fountain, in the sewer one was in a hole bit in the side of a wall etc. Hope this helps. | ||||||||

Inventory | eh, no-no I'm not talking about the cut scenes. I already know about all of those and the extra missions during the game itself. Which by the way ... the cutscenes play even if you don't shoot any of the capsules. Although I'll admit I'm not the best player. I was still dissapointed that nothing was unlocked in the menu after I cleared it the first time. Well ok... so it unlocked the first extra mission... which I suppose means I'll have to clear all of those to a certain degree to unlock the other hidden extras. I only have one saving disc so I'll have to start over -- since I can't beat Rosso on the hard setting But hey this could be a good thing since I'm already at the manor and my lowest score this time is a B ranking.

Inventory | he uses his shield quite often if I remember correctly. In the first part the objective is to destroy the flying lanterns that shoot laser rays and to knock the spider arachnero off his perch. When he finally comes down to earth and does his smoke disappearing act use your special ... as the beast you can throw fireballs with more of an impact. Still arachnero is only vulnerable when his shield is down and wings spread wide.. If he can fire at you/ you should be able to connect back. Shoot too soon or too late you have to wait again until the next opportunity Timing is everything in this part not how much ammo you have ..
