Well, I haven't played, but I'll tell you I'm not going to be buying, renting, or even looking at this game. And not because of what a bunch of people in reviews said, but because of my friend. He's been an FF fan longer than I have and is definitely someone with a good experience on rating games. Obviously, he said this game sucked major ass. The gameplay was just terrible for him and the only thing he liked about it was it was a FF game. Plus we both have the same taste in just about everything so I can really use his opinion to decide what I will or will not get when it comes to FF. It's a rent, not a buy. If you're a super hardcore FF fan then by all means add it to your collection, but it's nothing special. Below medicore at best.

I finally got to play it and....it sucks. Period. Its easy, repetitive, and every other aspect that makes a game fun is lacking. Whatever you do just save your money for something else and maybe just rent it.

I was about to play the game but....I heard it really stinks. But..I'll give it a try I guess, Though I'm not a fan of shooting games.

I rented it. Beat it in three days. I kinda liked it though to be honest. Besaides the fact that it was really easy, it was fun to go back and see all the FF7 characters. Although I do wish that they would have shown more people then Yuffie and Cait Sith. But the story isn't all that bad, maybe if they just made it into a turn-based FF sequal it would have been longer and better.

i wouldent say its a shooting game i have it and i say it more of an RPG you get difeent wepons and eqipment,but it youre opinone.have fun if you do get it,and i hope you in joy it.

Personally it seemed alright. I decided to rent it a few weeks ago and I liked the graphics and such.Vincent's of my fav's from FFVII so yeah,but let just say that Square should just stick to RPG's instead of action.Sure, it had some RPG elements,but the gameplay stinked.

Well at least you people tried it, I don't like people who take info from reviews and stuff. especially as a person who is beginning game making myself. Like my sprite thread that was immediately banned because the game was "probably going to be bad" I was going to use the sprites and use the game making program I'm on and actually make up my own story. But apparently people can be really harsh on people like me. *sigh* oh well. Back to stick people

my favorite charactor of all time is vincent. i bought the game and beat it in seven hours. loved it. but its not for everyone. if fps are not your thing i wouldnt recomend it.

im in australia so i still haven't gotten it, but man i am long forward to the day when i get my grubbby mits on it so much, does anyone know the date for its release in australia or europe? i would really like to know.

it's not horibble but its not the best the could do with it.

It was alright I suppose. I didn't really like it aside from the extra ending.

I finally found out some one who likes FFVII and dirge of cerebrus. I haven't played but i really want to. Thanks for telling me about the demon things, I didn't even know that! I'm gonna add u to my buddy list if that's okay!?
