Online Pricing for FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus Revealed

Looks like Dirge of Cerberus now has a pricing plan. Sony has posted the pricing for Japanese users to enjoy Dirge of Cerberus online, American pricing is still yet to be set.

The online play requires a hard drive, and will be a monthly fee of 760 yen ($6.47) for one character. Not a bad deal until you want to add additional characters for 100 yen ($0.85) each. Although it may not be as much as Final Fantasy XI, this pricing still proves to be quite an investment.

Dirge of Cerberus is set for release January 24 in Japan.

Considering how much FFXI prices were, I wasn't really looking forward to the online features on DoC. But now that I've found this out, I guess I have a newfound love for future online FF gaming. lol.

This is amazing, this is the perfect chance, but i hope that the game deserves it, and it's a total failure, i mean Square Enix has experience in rpgs not action games, who knows what we will get...

I'm curious if the games going to be good. Im used to Square making RPGs. I dont think this game can be considered a REAL FF 'cause its jsut so different from what ff means to me..
Not sure if Im going to buy it...

Hey guys.. dun say that man... i believe in Square! They never let us down, did they? This DoC is action RPG. Yeah, it's different from what we usually think FF is, but dun sentence them to death without trying it out with ur own gamepad...i mean, to be fair.

Take it as a new adventure. Give urself a chance to like it. If some of you like Kingdom Hearts, i guess there's no prob for this too.

Btw, i'm not sure if u guys have seen this new trailer of DoC, but i just share it out here for those who haven't seen it. Their FMV is super nice, exactly like Advent Children. As long the story is good , i dun mind try out FF new generation style.

1) FFIII logo is not really a big deal though coz ultimately is the game which matters.
2) Chocobo Racing in most FF seem ok to me, it's fun playing though. May be just me.
3) The Spirits Within is not really categorised as part of the FF series... to me, it's just a outside movie which has not related to FF. And it's the director's fault. Not SquareEnix who has created great games for us for the past so many years. Comparatively, Advent CHildren is a success coz the story is good and totally sequel of the FF7 game. Which is conforming so much to FF's Original Fantasy Ideas. Whereas Spirits Within is just a movie about killing bunch of "aliens" which ended up known as "spirits within the earth".... just lame. So , please dun compare that.
4) Titus from FFX is fine to me. Actually i'm more worried about FF12 where the main character seems a bit sissy in a way.. haha.. ok .. this i admit.. the character design may have some flaw... but i guess the general idea here is, other than little minor thing, Square neva fail us in their games n entertainment for us.
5) If not mistaken, the rumour may be true or not true. I overheard from some sources out there, saying that they may take 5 years to develop FFVII in PS3. But they haven't close the case yet. So there might be hopes.... dun just give in my frien.

Btw, there's no such thing as perfect game company though. Square is considered best of the best.

. It's a solo action RPG. The only special feature is that they supports online multiplayer mode. U still can play on ur own PS2 without the HDD. You will only pay if you want to play online with multiplayers. No worries mate.
