HI does any one know any thing about FF7 Dirge of cererbus i heard its coming out for the ps2 as well as the psp now that will be cool out side playing a good ff game. if any on finds out any thing more about this canu please tell me.

It's a Devil May Cry type game with Vincent as the main character and it takes place one year after Advent Children. It will probably be released sometime in 2006 for the PS2.

apparantly its meant 2 be a first person shooter it sounds good though!

I don't know about the PSP (don't think so) but it looks pretty cool, kinda of a Resident Evil 4-esque shooting style (over the shoulder). I would definetly buy it!!! FF7 + RE4 =

I really hope that it's not a first person shooter. If it is, hopefully it's more in the light of RE4. Now, if it were set up like DMC, I'd be happy as hell about it. Who knows how they'll do things. But as long as Vincent is the main character, it should be cool.

I'm not very sure about this game. It seems Square is trying to appeal to different gamers maybe? They have never done Shooters before so it might not be as good. The story will most likely be good, but about the gameplay... We'll just ahve to wait and find out.

It is a 3rd person shooter. You are Vincent. You do gain levels and damage is done by numbers, as we all know and love. Atleast, this is the information I have gathered...If I'm wrong, correct me, if not, there you go. Good Day.

its a 3rd person shooter and it looks really fun but i would perfer just normal battles since i suck at shooting games and even if it is a shooter i still buying it.

It is changeable between first and third person views with the press of a button. That's what I read on Gamespot any way.

I think the chars look nice...seeing them again "brings back memorie" hehe...I like Sephiroth.

But looking at this one...well...all i can say is Square made a mistake by turning ff7 into a shooter.

Although I will buy the game, I think it would be a simple waste of money...from what i saw, the gameplay sucks.

All i want from Square is prove me wrong.

Three years have passed since Meteor struck the planet. A passage way leading to Shin-Ra's underground operations has been discovered, unleashing a nightmare for all the world. This is indeed one of Shin-Ra's darkest secrets. The underground operations were focused on developing "deepground Soldiers" SOLDIERs of ultimate destructive power, who now declare a war against humanity. Vincent is unwittingly drawn into the fight, finding that he himself was the target. Hojo, who rejuvinated Vincents body after killing him, hid a secret deep within Vincents flesh, unbeknownst to the silent gunman.

it is like dvil may cry but a little different and i think this game will be crapper than final fantasy 7 but i will try this game though i am not to sure it is cominf on the psp but i know when it is coming out it will be relased in the usa around august time and ibn the europe area around september
