My favorite 4? I use Sabin, mainly for his stacked HP count, as he takes hits like a tank for my team. The kid never goes down, plus bumrush is a free-costing move that does thousands of damage, what more can you complain about? I also like using Terra when I get her up to high levels, so her morph can stay in form for extended time, and she tears up the opposition on the other team with her magic/weaponry. Next, I use Celes as a support/main magic user, because she has good stats for it, plus she isn't afraid to swing a blade either. Last, I normally use Gogo, since he can fit into whatever role needed for battle with his useful switching of abilities.

1) Terra , there's no denieing that terra isn't kickass . especially on higher lvl's . and with morph she's unstopable .
2) Celes , same like terra , only her runic ability isbetter in the begnnning of the game and terra morph at the end .
3) Mog , I just love this litl guy lol .
4) Relm : Well , she has supreme stats ? (or skills can't remeber well)

Setzer, I made Setzer an awesome support character. He uses haste on everyone, shell, safe, remedy, healz, and even magic if needed.

Another group is Relm, Shadow, Strago and Edgar (gotta stick family together lol, minus Edgar)
and last Cyan, Mog, Locke, and Celes

I like using Gau and Umaro but I just don't like Rage on Gau, I don't know what skills do what. Rage Ring though is huge on Umaro.

Sabin - Level 99 - a strong attacker with genji gloves and 2 tigerfangs.
Terra - Level 96 - again another stronger attacker who is even stronger with morph.
Mog - Level 84 - a good support character and with a Snow Muffler equipped he too can take even the heaviest of hits.
Locke - Level 80 - another support character, another decent attacker, and a good thief to steal goodies with.

Well I'd have to say the party I'd like the most would have to be...
Terra-awesome Magic, morph makes her unstoppable, more than enough.
Gau-I just really like him, and would make him a rather versatile mage for before I decide to have him rage.
Locke-Thieves rule! that's all I have to say on the subject.
Sabin-Do I need to explain this one?

Terra is there for magic epicness and all with morph to destroy whoever she wants.
Gau because he is my favorite character, and I tend to get quite lucky with his rages.
Locke is their for awe inspiring Sonic the hedgehog like speed.
And Sabin is there to own, and of course have a good store of magic, mainly healing in case he needs to get the party back on thir feet.

i like to stick with edgar,sabin locke and celes, i always try to keep edgar in the pt, hes my secondary magic user as well as his tools being extra useful.sometimes i switch out locke with terra if i need a strong magic offensive.

Edgar-Good defense and a strong offense though not the fastest.
Sabin-A tank for the most part what else can you ask.
Locke-Speed speed speed, with a genji glove try to stop him.
Terra-If you learn the right magics she will be a devastating force.
