I GOT Final Fantasy 6 ADVANCED a day before release!!!!

Circuitcity.com said it was to be released on the 7th. today is the sixth and circuitcity got in 5 of theese games. they accidently put them on the shelves and i was able 2 buy a copy of it. i called wal-mart and gamestop to see if they also had it. wal- mart said they had FF 5 advanced. and gamestop said that i could reserve it if i came down to the store gamestop also said tht they dont know how many copies they'll get and that FF 6 advanced would be released sometime this week. but y would they still be selling reserves if it was being released today? so i concluded tht circuitcity messed up and put it on the shelves a day early. (not tht im complaining )

It was shipped out this week, and was meant to be in the stores today for inventory purposes -- it's not supposed to hit shelves until tomorrow. I know my GameStop has its copies of FFVI-A in stock, but we're not allowed to release them until tomorrow, including reservation copies.

No. It'll be released next month. It was delayed a few weeks for sprite color bugs and had to have a final touch up.

Um...All EB Games released it on the 6th. That was the release day we were given.

Err, actually, the game was SUPPOSED to be released on the 5th(its actually still listed as such at Gamespot), I still have yet to pick up my copy though. And, it sure is fun reveling in store fvckups, eh? I sure do love getting games for less than shelve value(got my SSB:M, new for 18.99, Wal-Mart's fvckup ^^), early(gotten a few games before everybody else, mostly dumbass Wal-Mart), etc. Have fun playing FFVIA before me though, >.>.

I haven't gotten FFVI yet and I'm still on FFV. So I'm a little behind in the GBA remakes. As for it being released early, yeah you're lucky to have it. I heard that it was supposed to be released on the fifth this month too at Gamestop. Don't know what happened though.....

The 5th was the shipping date. The actual release date was the 6th. The computers are retarded at EB/Gamestop. I know because I work at an EB.

You usually get games a day before release when you pre-order them on the internet.

You're lucky. I have no idea when it is coming out over here in Australia. We seem to be the last to get all the games which is pathetic but oh well. I'm sure it will be well worth the wait. I tried to find a release date for here but nothing. I hope they do release it here! I would be really annoyed if they didn't.
