Kefka puts Sepiroth to shame

I know a lot of people may have seen this video..i saw the beginning of it because it was posted in another thread, but this is the first time i have seen the clip in its entirety. Just thought it was funny, especially because of all the Sepiroth or Kefka things. Kefka pwns all once again!

Someone already posted this video in another thread, but it was shorter. that Kefka cosplay was downright scary. i agree that kefka was a better ff villian, isn't he the most insane of them all? i haven't played the 12th ff yet so i don't know for sure.

bwahaha, Yay for the makeup wearing psycho, we all knew Kefka could pwn Sephiroth and his long flowing locks any day XDD. Especially with Kefka being Magic incarnate and everything, it kinda stands to reason that you know, he would be more powerful All hail Kefka!

Yeah i've seen the shorter version, that one is much better!

Kefka is definatly my favorite villain of the series. He's twisted, wacky and he knows what he wants! The fact that you can laugh at him, and early on (like when you meet Edgar at Figaro Castle), he seems like some mad clown in the Empire, like the Emporor's henchman or sidekick. The build up to his evilness is great, and he actually succeeds in hefty damage. Sephiroth had an interesting past, but he was a little too much of an A-typical villain.

i think kefka is stronger and smarter and has magic that is more powerful and is more evil but sephiroth is cooler looking to me and to me. have you acually seen what the final version of kefka looks like it is weird. unlike the most awsome final fantasy villan ever sephiroth.

Well kefka's final version was a god type form, or a fallen angel/false god of sorts. Infact the entire final battle is full of religious references. So yes Kefka did this before Sepiroth.

I remember that doggone fallen angel spell and I hated it. Kefka put up a heckuva fight and when you first see him in the game you have no idea thats coming.

I owned Kefka the first time I fought him. Just use a Megalixer after he does than and Bam you win. Easy fight.

In terms of boss fights, they're both weak.

And in terms of personality, Kefka wins... but Sephiroth is very close.

In terms of fashion, definately Sephiroth.

This isn't a competition... they're high-quality villains of different genres (Medieval vs Modern)

There are three types of villians.
1] The ones you hate.
2] The ones the annoy you.
3] The ones you love.

Kefka is one of those villians you love to hate. So he is a mix between Types 1 and 3. And here are a few reasons why:

1) He doesn't start off a bad ass. He works his way to the top of the villian food chain.
2) He has no remorse. He kills when he pleases. He kills soldiers on either side of the war, Casualties of war, callateral damage, etc.
3) He is ONE crazy MF.
4) He wants to destroy everything. Even the very world he wants to control
5) He is a cross dresser.

Fashion I have to say Kefka wins I mean look at his style, all his own with a lot of spirit. I think its great he could think outside the box, I mean come on Sephrioth leather and trench coat was so 80's . But kidding aside I think it would be a tough battle to say who would will in that fight, and I am a big old school FF Freak.

Kefka does put Sephiroth to sham after I saw that clip. He actually did acheive his goals compared to Sephiroth. Yeah Sephiroth has a cool sword right? Big deal. Kefka is someone you love to hate cuz he's evil and if he was to face Sephiroth, Kefka would annihilate him. So I agree with you GLC.

Kefka was my first FF villain. I was, like, six when I beat him, and I remember that I was powerful enough to kill the guy in a single turn.

LOL, wow I must admit I've been a fan of both Kefka and Sephiroth, but liked Sephiroth's character in the end for a few reasons but after watching that video it was just down-right hilarious hearing Kefka call Seph a "momma's boy"... lol, classic.

I think if the rolls were turned around and FFVI was done how FFVIII was, and vice versa I would have ended up liked Kefka more. I just felt like I got to know more who Sephiroth was and what he wanted more than Kefka. However both were basically bent on world domination, with regards to Seph who basically just wanted to destroy the world.

Regardless, great post Dyluck. I love it!

Normally i'd say that anyone who dresses up like a anime or video game character is a little off in the head, as the people almost NEVER end up looking like the characters they try to represent (and just end up looking kinda retarded), but that was actually better than I expected. The guy did a pretty good job at being Kefka after all, and he gets props for being able to pull off the legendary cackle fairly well. The big "Kefka pwns Sephiroth!" moment wasn't as sweet as I thought it would be, but still glorious nonetheless. Overall, funny video.

Sephiroth is a momma's boy. He can't compare to Kefka on any level. I mean Kefka was an actual villain and Sephiroth is just something for people to stare at because he "looks" badass. Given, I do give props for killing everyone in Cloud's hometown. THAT was an accomplishment compared to what he lost in the end.

As far as i can see the only thing sephiroth actuly managed was becoming one the lifestream, i meen look at kefka he poisoned the water supply of doma, killing all, tricked and murderd leo, raised the floating continent, killed the emperor and brought apocalypse to the world.
There is no villain in all of final fantasy that was so insane and cruel that they would destroy the world without hesitation, you have to admire his ambition, even if he is madder than a box of frogs.
