Shadows seven dreams

I'm not sure if somebody else created this thread but I wanted to know if shadow(clyde) has seven dreams. Assuming that you guys are experts.
I also heard that if you get all of his dreams then he won't die at the ending.

If you don't know who Shadow is, why are you posting in this topic?

On topic, let me check, it's been so long since I really played FFVI I forgot how many dreams he had, I don't think it's that many and I KNOW they don't alter his ending.

EDIT: It's 4, 7 is just the popular "rumored" number.

Ah, my bad, the 5th dream you get when you Rescue Shadow from the Veldt Cave. The other 4 are somewhat secret and you have to spend the night at various inns to see them while he's in your party.

Nah, they don't alter the ending, but they're interesting to see into Shadow's past. Most of them are difficult to get, too, as I don't know if you have to stay in specific places, but you do have to spend a night somewhere with Shadow in your party, which wouldn't happen often in the World of Balance. It's an interesting addition and twist to the character, I like it.

As Cain confirmed, Shadow did have 5 dreams.

So... "I." Apparently. (?)

I've seen all 5 of those dreams. They're the part of the game that I remember the most vividly, possibly, because they're the last thing I did (I tried to find the other 2 dreams in WoR that were supposedly there, too. Makes me sad that they don't exist...)

Isn't there some site about the facts and myths of FF6, or something? Probably covers it there, nicely. Wish I still had the link...

I have reviewed some of the sites that tell me but they usually both say they've seen 5 Dreams, 6 dreams or 7 dreams. They even said that squaresoft said that there were 7 dreams.

I've heard from a lot of places that there are seven dreams, but I've never seen the last two. In fact, I think the only one I've seen more than once is the mandatory one when he's rescued.

I wonder if I can mail a letter to square-enix, asking them if shadow has seven dreams.
