Who is in your favourite party?

Terra - good attack and magic early on, esper form was cool

Locke - decent attack/speed early on, favorite character, boss's usually have uber items to steal from

Celes - good attack/magic early game, runics useful by times

Setzer - has an airship, gamblin' fiend, oh yeah, best equipment combo/attack in the game, Offering/Genji Glove/Fixed Dice/Doom Darts.

Shadow - Always my first choice. He was such a dark enigmatic character, also they didn't pull the happy ending stuff with him. Fantastic character. Plus he was a fantastic all round character.

Edgar - My Third favourite character he was hilarious. Also he was another fantastic all round character. As well as this his tools were genuinely useful, works fantastic in a team with Locke in as well.

Locke - My second favourite character. Charismatic,debonair " Treasure hunter" and with two weapons almost unstoppable. Plus he made having Edgar much better, steal the necessary tools and your team gets and instant power boost. Also that was for me the game steal was most useful in.

Cyan - I due to mistake finished FF6 with Sabin instead but I by far prefer Cyan. He ephitomises the old ideals of honour in battle, and respect even for the enemy, however if you got on his wrong side he'd massacare you. Also i though his sword techniques, to be perhaps the most fitting attacks for a character in the game, after steal.

Mog and Umaro were awesome too.

My favourite party is Terra, Mog, Cyan, and Celes. I love Cyan's sword techniques. They are so easy to kill enemys.

My favorite characters to use by far are Locke, Sabin, Terra and Shadow. Well it's pretty obvious why I like to use Sabin in my character. He is the best character to use in final fantasy 6. His blitz attacks are alot stronger than his regular physical attacks, he's THE strongest character in final fantasy 6.....EVER!! and if you quick him and then bumrush Kefka is probably almost dead anyways. You can't count Shadow out for his Throwing techniques which are pretty strong, I just liked Locke as the Theif and Terra because she was a half human half esper which was pretty interesting.

mine is Shadow Setzer Mog and Cyan Right now i have them all doing 9999 damage and I have Cyan Doing 79992 every time he attacks (gotta love the 8 hit combo)

Anyways my party is this:
Terra: lvl 99, knows all spells and when she has gem box and quick she does 4ultimas 9999 apiece
Edgar: His atou crossbow tool command is a very powerful attack plus 99
Mog: Moogle charm dance ability and 99
Shadow: Gotta say he'm my favorite because of his past and mysterious self

mine is setzer celes locke and sabin

Mine is Sabin, Edgar, Terra, and Locke. Its even funner when you play it multiplayer with your friend through the entire game.

Early in the game I use Edgar, Locke, Terra, and Sabin. End game I usually replace Locke with Shadow, because he pwnzorz. I like Cyan a lot too, so sometimes I use him instead of Edgar, and I might also use Celes in place of Terra. I just like too many of them...

Oooh! It has been so very long since I have posted in this forum. I think the last post I made here may have been in a thread almost exactly like this one. Or maybe it was a "What is your favorite character?" thread. I am just rambling to get the word count up, I suppose.

Now!

Mog: Mog is my favorite character in the entire realm of Final Fantasy. I cannot think of a single character that I like more, and this is based purely on how, in the words of that Taco Guy, incredibly cute he is. I don't really care for stats. Never looked at them. The only time I go into the status sheet was to change Gogo's abilities or to see when they would level up. Pointing that out, I placed the Economizer and the Gem Box on him and just Ultima'd everyone to hell and back. Dances were used sparringly towards the end of the game, but I was a dancing madman during the earlier parts.

Edgar: Tools were probably my favorite thing in the entire game, and Edgar was the man to go to for using them. I purchased them whenever I could and hardly ever didn't use them. Auto Crossbow was probably my most used attack out of anything in the entire game. Whenever I was facing multiple enemies, Edgar was the go to guy. I cannot count the number of times his Tools helped me escape certain Game Over-like deaths.

Sabin: I liked the Blitzes, but I used them as I used dances: Heavily towards the beginning, sparringly towards the end. Mantra and Aqua Bolt were used a lot though, just when I need those extra boosts in health or the damage with the A-Bolt. I enjoyed giving him the Genji Glove and Offering combo, plus two of the best claws whenever I could get my hands on them. Eight times 9999? I know anyone can do it given the proper levelling, but I always loved when it was the musclehead.

Gogo: Gotta love the Mime. I think the three abilities I had on him/her at all times were Magic, Tools, and SwordTech. I think. I don't really have a reason for liking this particular character, but (s)he intrigued me to no end and that was enough for me.

I always ended up beating the game with the first three, no matter what. Gogo typically died during the final battle, and was probably replaced with Umaro or Cyan. I never really used Terra, Locke, or Celes. Maybe upon the release of the GBA version I will try to branch out and not depend so much on the little white Moogle I adore so very much. Maybe.

Celes - Rune Sword FTW
Edgar - Tools, how useful they were!
Setzer - He does some decent damage all round.
Sabin - I love his special moves, but executing them could be a pain.

yeah sabin is a trouble maker when i was young with no consept of reality i would get nervous and lose important boss battles cause i would mess up the bum rush or one of the other difficult blitzies

in my party I had Sabin, Edgar, Terra and Mog. those are my favorite characters in the game, so I kept them. I liked Sabin bum rush and mogs dances

Yeah when I was young too, I used to do the same thing and loose to the boss and taking me longer to finish the game.

Edgar, Sabin, Terra, Gogo. I <3 using the gem box to do the Ultima, quick, ultima, ultima, ultima, ultima combo, also with an economizer it only costs 6mp. Also Gogo can mime Sabins Blitz's. <3 <3 <3
