Whats your favorite part in ff vi?

My favorite part is eating the food in the ghost train with different characters. The reaction they give while they are eating is what makes the whole thing funny. The funniest reaction was the ghost for my opinion.

IT'S LIKELY TO BE FULL OF SPOILERS, AND I DON'T SEE THE USE IN USING THE SPOILER TAG IN A WHOLE THREAD FULL OF THEM. VIEW AT YOUR OWN RISK.

For me, I can't pick just one. Therefore, I'll probably be back and forth to this thread a few times. One of the honorable mentions is the scene on the Floating Continent, when Kefka kills Gestahl. I definitely did NOT see that coming the first time I played. I mean, I knew Kefka was a little mentally challenged, but that was just unexpected.

Oh, and of course, I jumped off the continent without waiting for Shadow the first time I played. I thought that if I waited for him, my whole party might get crushed and I'd get a game over.

Ill have to say my all time favirote is when you first meet up with gau and he tries to remember your names (cyan and sabin) and just repeatedly mocks cyan and ends up naming sabin mr. thou or something
yet another is when you find out about locke and his was going to be wife until they went into the cave and she saved locke from collapsing on top of the bridge into the depths of the cave and how she wound up with amnesia and her father stoping her and him from marrying just dont know never thought that of locke in the beggining.

Haha, yeah, the Mr. Thou thing was hilarious. You just gave me a GREAT idea though... I may just have to name Sabin "MrThou" the next time I start a new file, because that's just funny.

One of my fave scenes would quite possibly be where General Leo defies Kefka. For some reason, Leo just really stood out as a character to me, and his standing up to Kefka just kicked all unholy ass. Also one of my faves is where Shadow talks to Terra about killing her emotions. That scene was just...yeah...powerful, ya know?

It was ok but i got sick of it when i was leveling up on the train and having to go back in tere for the food to heal up i thnk i lvl until i was from 11 to 19 or 22 cant remember the second time i had played it on zsnes so i had fastforward for battles so i lvld twice as fast hehe no cheat codes though just fforward for about ten minutes holding atack and i gain like 8 lvls and 50k of gp any ways yeah at first when i saw that part it was ok but i wasnt really thrilled about it and
no i didnt like the train part at the end cuz cyan had to watch his wife and child board it to go to the after life imagine if that was you. if it were me ide get pissed to swee my close ones leave like that knowing they didnt live as long as they should have i might be evil but that just got to me.

yeah lococolt mr.thou would be funny to put as sabins name next time you rebeat it, actually sounds rather funny go for it!

I would also have to say when you first get Gau and he mocks Cyan and "dances" with Sabin, a.k.a. Mr. Thou.

Man, you just can't beat the classics, I wonder what Gau would call Steiner from FF9...hehe...

I also liked the part where cyan was getting revenge on the empire and you just stand there watching him fight and when you walk into the battle you get knocked backwards.

And as Loco said that scene in flying continent was a big surprise.

Mr Thou thing is one of my favourites.
Gau's funny.

The coolest part in VI was when you are in the opera and have to act out the play and fight ultros.

The Phantom Train by far or the Opera Scenes. But most of all I enjoy the part where you have your party meet The Espers in the Magicite Factory and you learn about Terra's past.

Ah, so many parts, which one to pick?

I really liked Locke's story with Racheal, it was so sad.

That part would probably be my favorite. Also when you find Cyan pretending to be that one girl's boyfriend who went off; that was interesting too. And finally, I liked when Sabin (I think) was talking about General Leo. Something like "If he wasn't my enemy, he'd be my friend."

I liked the humorous parts such as......

Mr.Thou(obvoisly)
There's sand in my boot's(Kefka)
The typo where Gau introduces himself when you changes Gau's name (for example on my game it said Jake.....GAU!!!)
